"We are a family of four — two adults and two children. Stayed here in January 2026 and had a wonderful time. The place is terrific and extremely clean, food was wonderful and staff fantastic. "The staff were easily the most welcoming and accommodating I’ve experienced in a long time. They were friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary needs. I was welcomed with a bouquet of flowers and treated with total consideration. The room was comfortable and large and of good value. The food was excellent. The property has sweeping views. Incredible stay!"

"Sugar Beach is all grown up, loved the new cabins with spa bath in the terrace, great for cooler October evenings. I also think the lagoon has been cleared of a lot of rocks etc making it easier for adults to swim. Staff were lovely and the site looks so pretty with all the planting. Only thing that is not so good was the food, which was perfectly fine, but could be better"

"I have never written a negative review, however, I am so disappointed with this hotel. Firstly, the room had a constant strong awful smell, which after reading some other reviews, may have been the smell of sewage. The duvet, which had no clean cover on, had a faceal smear on it! The constant thumping of loud music into our room from the hotel 2100hrs to midnight and from next door during the day, meant there was no escape. My wife had the most terrible food poisoning which meant we were stuck in our room for a couple of days. All this lead to us switching hotels after four torturous days. The Manager wasn’t interested and when checking out, couldn’t be bothered to speak to us about this. He said he was coming over to discuss the stay, then 20min after waiting for him, we were told he wasn’t coming! What a shame as the hotel is set a lovely bay. No attempt at communication or a refund has been made. "

"Room was clean with hot water shower. Tea and coffee facilities. Staff were very pleasant and courteous. Bar area with swim up seats, had some lovely cocktails from barman Daren. Breakfast was a mixture of hot and cold dishes which was more than adequate. Lovely boutique hotel close to town."

"The only factor concerning was with regards to wifi connection. I was not able to access the free wifi facility in hotel , also even the phone signal was too low since our room was located below the ground level . Rest all services and our stay , breakfast and the entire surrounding was superb!!"
