When is the best time to go to Old Town Cisternino?

The best time to go to Old Town Cisternino is during the shoulder seasons, specifically May, early June, or September. During these months, the weather is pleasantly warm, ideal for exploring the town's whitewashed streets and enjoying outdoor dining without the intense heat and larger crowds of July and August. You'll find most shops and restaurants open, but the atmosphere is more relaxed. Couples looking for a romantic getaway will appreciate the quieter streets and comfortable evenings in May or September. It's a wonderful time for leisurely strolls through the historic centre, discovering hidden courtyards, and enjoying aperitivos at pavement cafes.

"I was incredibly surprised on how beautiful it was - the pictures don’t do it justice. Our room was in the center of the town in a beautiful alley by an amazing restaurant. We had a private roof where we drank wine. Breakfast was lovely and the staff gave us amazing recommendations on activities during the day (we had a car). Staff were really really nice. I highly recommend this place, very romantic."

"Absolutely beautiful and tranquil. Set hidden away, the 7 rooms are scattered around the property. The two pools are wonderful, one with music and one without, and plenty of comfy places to sit and relax. Space in the tree covered area for those wanting more shade. We ate here one evening and were impressed with the food. All of the staff working here are pleasant and attentive. We booked massages and these were great too. It’s a great base for exploring all the regional towns, roads are good...

Grand Hotel Masseria Santa Lucia

"Amplio. Limpio y centrico."

Park Hotel San Michele

10/10 Excellent

"Park Hotel San Michele is situated in Martina Franca, a short walk from the town's lovely historic center and many restarants and coffe shops. Though it is situated in the center, the hotel and garden offer a quiet respit fron this bustling town. Enjoying the pool, garden and loby was wonderful. The included breakfast was very nice, served in a beautiful hall or on the lovely terrace. Staff was helpful and welcoming. Rooms were recently renovated, immaculately clean."

Primo Ostuni Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Very well located hotel in Ostuni. The staff very helpful, the bathroom was really nice, the bed very comfortable. Everything very clean. Good amount of storage. The only drawback is that the curtains allowed light to filter in the morning and I forgot my eye shades, so the light woke me up every morning earlier than I wanted. The picture hotels.com had of the room we booked is not from the room we booked. We expected a balcony and we just had a panoramic view through a window. They were fully booked so we had to stay with the Panoramic room we booked. Not the one we expected. Very happy with the stay anyhow."

Palazzo Indelli

10/10 Excellent

"Very nice 3-night stay. Room was a good size and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the terrace overlooking the square, though a bit noisy in the evening with loud music from the square up to midnight. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good restaurant though breakfast was in the restauarant next to the hotel where the menu was slightly limited but very pleasant outside in the sunshine."
