Enchanting cottage in the heart of Chipping Campden

"When we opened the door we knew we were somewhere special. The tasteful approach to refurbishing this 1710 cottage was remarkable. We have stayed in many VRBO’s around the world and The Orchard House is without a doubt our favorite. After 13 hrs. of travel we were delighted when we walked into the kitchen and found eggs, milk and OJ in the fridge as well as a strawberry sponge cake, and other local treats. Thank you Maggie it was all appreciated and consumed. We stayed here for 1 month and it wasn’t long enough. Located on a quiet lane and a short walk to town, we strolled many nights to the local restaurants and pubs. If you are planning a trip to the Cotswolds this home is a dream. "
"Stayed 2 nights in room 5. Very large room, with bath tub and shower over.
As building is several hundred years old the windows are not sound proofed. I overlooked the High Street and you do hear traffic. Food is fantastic "
"Absolutely perfect spot to stay for a long weekend in Chipping Campden! We were visiting for a wedding and had everything we needed. The chocolates upon arrival made my husband’s day after our long trip. There was even a handy iron! We loved walking to Bromley’s in the morning for coffee and a light breakfast and then meandering around town. Plenty of restaurants a stone’s throw away, but the home was still quiet as could be. Thank you so much!"

"We had a wonderful week in this Chipping Campden cottage. The location was perfect —just steps from the shops and restaurants in the town. The cottage was as lovely as the pictures showed and offered a cozy place to retreat to at the end of a day of exploring the countryside. Becky was a welcoming host who answered all our questions. In all, our experience exceeded our (very high) expectations. We feel very lucky to have found this magical spot."

"We had a wonderful stay at the cowshed when we attended a friends wedding reception at the nearby Lapstone barn. The property was lovely, spotlessly clean and exactly as described. The hosts provided lots of useful information which we made use of the following day. Chipping campden is a beautiful cotswold village and the property is ideally situated for exploring it. Would definitely stay again! "
