"I last stayed here in 2016 and sadly it has since got a bit tired. Public areas, stair wells etc could do with some TLC and like so many hotels staffing seems stretched. Room 8 was uncomfortably warm even with the windows open and floor fan on. The Spa facility is at another establishment and attracts a £10pp fee so photos are rather misleading. Restaurant was very good with excellent staff. On site parking was limited and pretty tight but managed to find a space. Overall I enjoyed my stay, staff were friendly and did their best but some investment is needed to lift the Noel Arms back to its former glory"

"The staff were very friendly on arrival however there were some miscommunication and we were left for half an hour waiting to be checked in whilst we were missing the wedding which we questioned, the room was okay, quite small and basic but no issues, unfortunately there were skid marks in the toilet from someone else which then made us question the cleanliness, the light had a sensor in the bathroom and it kept going on and off during the night making a clicking noise which was quite annoying. "

"Great accommodation that suited 3 different generations and 4 separate family groups! Comfy, warm and the shared areas were excellent. We missed out on some potentially stunning views due to foggy weather but it's a lovely setting. The walk back from the village bar was super steep - be warned!"

"Little touches go a long way we was disappointed on arrival there was no welcome basket or little gesture or welcome note as previous cottars I have been too, just a pint of milk in the fridge. Had we known we would have stopped to get tea bags and bread and more loo roll after a 3hr drive. The lighting on the stairs to the bedroom had 2 bulbs out, the top bedrooms sink didn’t drain properly and the en-suite lights didn’t work properly."

"Our room exceeded our expectations. It was in excellent condition, as though it had been recently renovated. Staff were lovely and made our stay comfortable. Delicious breakfast included and Tuesday Indian banquet on site made a delicious evening meal. "
