This place is very special and was crafted with great care. We stayed in one of the Teepees. The beds were so comfortable and the space was very clean and comfortable they even had heating blankets if you need to use them. This area of the Sierras is stunning and this property just adds to the experience. We loved our dinner cooked and served by Heather and the property managers are amazing. Would definitely come back was very beautiful and memorable!

The place was clean but smelled moldy and musty. I sneezed a lot and for this reason I would not stay here again. Rooms were old trailers that were refurbished. Bed was very comfortable, showers hot and with good pressure. Staff very nice but we had to ask for kitchen towels, another hand towels and another washcloths. They expected 2 people to share the same washcloth and hand towel. Check in gal took away 2 bath towels and had to get us 2 pillowcases, another washcloth and hand towel. They had a price list if something was missing but how can they tell when it was not even fully stocked to begin with? Disorganized would be the best word to fit. This place was overpriced at $139. We were thankful we could bring our dog for the extra $20 and the cafe was good.

Secluded quiet RV park.Quiet Old very Old, the housing for non Rv owners are trailers devided like duplexes. Located between snowcapped mountains. Beautiful . No nearby restaurants or gass. Food at exelent price at check in building. Staff goodhearted and helpful.

Is it fancy, no. It’s it clean, yes. The family that runs the show is supper friendly! The location is as convenient to Death Valley as you’re going to get with out staying in the park. Food from the bar/check in is good bar food! The view of the mountains from the parking lot is beautiful. If you get a room, you do share a wall with another room so depending on your neighbors it may or may not be quiet. Over all a great stay for the price.

We stayed in a Tipi and had a great experience! Georgette (I hope I got it right ) was Super friendly and Helpful. Also we had the mushroom burger and Patty melt from the restaurant and the service and meal were great!! We will be coming back soon!!

The description of the room in the website is incorrect. The website said the room had 2 queen size beds. However the room had only 1 queen size bed and a pull out sofa, which is not the same as a bed.

I was actually very impressed by all the offerings at the property including dine in options. In the room (I got a king bed room) I did not expect a kitchen and such a spacious space. It was great to refresh. Had a heater, tv, hot water- all your needs. Just noticed as a dog owner that there were not enough trash bins around. Someone left poop on the other side of our property. Besides that- highly recommend. The sky was beautiful at sunrise

This place is perfect for what it is, an RV park with teepees. The limited staff is fabulous! The highway is noisy, but besides that, the property is a rustic, tiny town paradise.

We are very sorry and spoke to housekeeping. They said it was not on the list of rooms to be cleaned. We have set up inspections to prevent this from happening in the future.We hope you give us another chance :)

Worst place ever
Bed was most uncomfortable. The deadbolt didn’t work, the door had 12 panel glass and not security minded at all. The grounds looked like a movie set of a junk deserted town. Someone was hammering on something until 9 on.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was very clean and the morning view was magnificent! We arrived late and tired and were glad that the café was still serving food. Too tired to decide whether we wanted to get takeout or dine in, the staff person taking our order cheerily said, “I’ll bring it to your room if want to just go relax!”

We stayed in the tipi, which was very clean and comfortable. We ate breakfast on-site, which was delicious and cooked to order. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful as well. Location was easy to find, even as we arrived very late at night. The shower area was small, but all we expected and needed for our one night there. We had a great time on our way passing through the area!

Facilities need serious work but staff is five-star. Property is unique, just really needs an upgrade. The only reservation we could find in the area on a holiday weekend, we knew it wouldn’t be luxury accommodations. Just didn’t expect the splinters and dysfunctional equipment: had to troubleshoot the “air conditioners” constantly in 100-degree heat, bathroom lights didn’t work, one shower for the whole park with drain not working. That said, the employees worked really hard to make things right, with surprisingly good food at the cafe, prompt attention and friendly service. Well-stocked beverage market and helpful suggestions. The employees really made this stay an adventure rather than a disaster. If they were working somewhere with less maintenance issues they would be superstars.

Family getaway
They have single wide trailers and tee pees on their properties. We stayed in 2 of the trailers with 2 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths, kitchen and family room. The trailer was clean. They have a central air conditioner in the trailer but still very hot in the rooms. The tvs are smart tvs but we couldn't get them to work properly. It was a nice overnight stay.
