Enjoy riverside strolls and ample entertainment options, from bowling, boat rides and mini-golf to shopping and dining, in this revamped warehouse district.

Once a warehouse hub, Bricktown is now a popular entertainment district with a wide variety of attractions. Watch a baseball game, listen to dueling musicians perform live or take a guided water taxi out on the canal to learn more about the Bricktown area.

In the late 19th century, Bricktown was established as a warehouse district, storing goods that would be distributed across the state and country. In the 1960s and 1970s, the district fell into decline and most of the warehouses lay empty. Take a narrated cruise on the Bricktown Canal to learn about Bricktown’s regeneration, which began in the early 1990s.

Today, Bricktown is thriving and is packed with things to see and do. Cheer on the hometown heroes, the Oklahoma City Dodgers, at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Stop by the American Banjo Museum to learn about the history of the stringed instrument, from its African origins to its prominent presence in modern-day folk music. If you need a place to rest or want to go for a leisurely stroll, head to Bricktown River Walk Park to see statues dedicated to the 1889 Oklahoma Land Run.

Travellers visiting with families have plenty of options here. Bring the kids to Brickopolis to play arcade games, laser tag, mini-golf and other fun games. The entertainment complex also has trampolines and a sluice where participants can try mining for gems and minerals. Bricktown is also home to a multiscreen movie theatre.

As night falls, Bricktown really comes to life, with customers filling the bars and restaurants. Taste locally brewed beer at the Bricktown Brewery, sample Oklahoma-made wines at the Put a Cork In It Winery and take part in a painting class at Pinot’s Palette where you can sip wine while working on your canvas. Other bars feature live music and comedy acts.

Find Bricktown east of downtown Oklahoma City. Bricktown itself is walkable although both horse carriages and pedicabs offer lifts to tourists during busier periods.
