Our stay was 5/9 -5/10. We were very disappointed that we were not informed when we booked our room and made our spa appointments, that we would not be allowed on property until noon. This was a Mother's Day celebration for my daughters. They both took time off work and made childcare arrangements so we could take full advantage of the spa when it opened at 8:30. I received a call the day before our arrival confirming our appointments and that is when I was informed of the spa's reduced hours. When we showed up to the property hoping to grab a bite before the spa opened, we were turned away and told we couldn't go on the property at all until noon. Staff was very kind and understanding, but it was still disappointing.

Quiet, lots of family friendly activities to keep kiddos busy and entertained! Onsite restaurants were good, comfortable rooms, convenient shuttles to get around property!

Great service. Disappointed with the number of kids at the resort. Looking for quiet spa weekend. Also many off leash dogs. Should have a designated area for dogs to run if it is a pet friendly resort

Wow, what a beautiful property! It's a bit of a drive from the coast but what a nice escape. Large property so it's doesn't seem crowded at all. Everything as I would expect from a 5 star hotel!

President's Day get-away
This is a super nice place. I liked how it never seemed crowded...even on a holiday weekend. The place is so expansive with so much space around and the grounds are so lush and beautiful that you rarely hear other people around. The staff was all very friendly and helpful and really added to the overall good feel.

Magical Spot
Every time I stay at the Ojai Valley Inn I am wowed. The service is top notch and you can’t beat its gorgeous location. Rooms are lovely and comfortable. Spa is fantastic.

The room and the balcony were beautiful. The bathroom was amazing with a huge bathtub and a separate walk in shower. The whole property is gorgeous. Peaceful and relaxing.

Our first trip with our adult kids and would definitely come back again. The ground is beautiful, incredible service and beautiful rooms with view. We got upgraded to vista room with gorgeous view. Thank you for making my birthday wknd memorable.

We stayed here for two nights, and I would have to say that we left somewhat disappointed with our experience. The biggest issue was the staff, which was simply not up to par for a hotel charging around $1,000 per night. The valet parking staff were all teenage boys and acted accordingly. One time my girlfriend called for a golf cart three times (you need one to get around the resort), and it never turned up. The rooms were up-to-date and nicely appointed (terrific large bathtub), but the hallways were downright shabby. When you spend a fortune (as I’m sure they did) refurbishing the rooms, wouldn’t you want to make the hallways look attractive, and not like the hallways in a Holiday Inn? Finally, my girlfriend called to make an appointment at the spa for a facial the next day, but had to cancel an hour later. The girl at the spa very rudely told her that we would not be reimbursed because she called to cancel 23 hours before the appointment…one hour past the deadline. My girlfriend is not the type to make a fuss, but was so angry she insisted on speaking to the general manager, who (after a bit of hesitation) refunded our money. In short, not the type of customer service you expect from a true 5 star hotel.

The A/C in our room went out of order during night hourse and we had to bear with a very cold room throughout the night. We almost caught cold with a 60 degree tempreture, which undermined our otherwise perfect stay.
