The space
The newly built studio is attached to our garage and is completely separate to our family home. It has its own private entrance, parking and little patio to sit and enjoy the sound of the crashing waves or the romantic night sky.

The studio is super comfortable and features double glazing and full insulation to enjoy all year round. It has a queen bed, kitchenette, microwave, smart TV, large shower and we can provide a porta cot if requested.

Your stay includes coffee from the capsule coffee machine, a selection of teas and cereal. We also provide shower gel, shampoo and conditioner for use.
Please note we are on a bio septic system with tiger worms. To keep our worms alive, we appreciate if you don’t put coffee grinds, chemicals and sanitary items down the drain.

With our family home on the same property, we appreciate if you respect our privacy as much as we respect yours. Walking across surrounding farmland is prohibited, as it is a working farm and private property. Access to the beach is via the main road only.

We have a very friendly Huntaway dog, who may come and say hello. His name is Bo.

Guest access

To access the studio, please park your car on the concrete pad in front of the garage. Follow the stone path to the right of the concrete pad. A key lockbox will be located at the entrance door for self-check in.

Things to do in the area

Beautiful beaches such as Ocean Beach, Waimarama and Te Awanga. Mareatotara falls, Havelock North Village, Te Mata Peak, Hawkes Bay’s top wineries and restaurants are all within 15 mins drive from here.
