Wonderful location and had a fantastic stay. Enjoyed many fresh meals, welcoming hosts and the bed in my room was especially comfy! Will definitely be coming again.
Wonderful hosts, very accommodating. Lovely spot with a view of the Isle of Mull across the bay. Had one of the best pasta meals in my life. Well worth the drive.
If you imagine a cozy inn by the sea in Scotland, this is it: beautiful coastline, comfortable room, and a friendly innkeeper. We stayed in five different places on this trip, all pretty good, and Lochaline Hotel was our favorite, by far.
Fantastic views from the front of the hotel. If you can get a room looking down the sound of Mull towards Oban there can't be many better views in all of Scotland. The owners are lovely and very attentive to everything. Nice homemade pizza at night in the dining room and the breakfast is very good. The rooms and bathrooms are very modern, warm and and comfortable with all the usual mod cons. The Vertuo Nespresso machine in the rooms was an amazing touch - but I wish I'd asked for more milk as the (UHT) milk sachets spoiled my coffee a bit, but that's really the only fault I could find. My only regret was not bringing my dog as there was a Cockapoo that a guest brought but I didn't establish if the hotel was dug friendly. Overall a very nice hotel and the perfect stop off point if you're waiting to go to Mull.
We were here in bad weather so didn’t get to take advantage of the beautiful setting as much as we would have liked to. Shaley and Peter were wonderful hosts! Very welcoming and full of info about the area and wildlife. Dinner and breakfast were both made to order and lovely. So glad we were able to stay with them!
Got here after a long drive, absolutely beautiful location! Had an amazing room with a stunning view, owners very friendly, gave ideas of where to go to see wildlife eg otters, dolphins etc - great breakfast in the morning - would definitely return 🙂
We needed a place to rest on our way north to Orkney. What better place to stay in such a well-run hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable beds, delicious, filling breakfasts and friendly hosts and fellow guests made our stay relaxing and restful.
If you wanted a peaceful getaway for a few days, here would be the perfect hotel and location.
This is such a wonderful hotel. We feel very lucky to have stayed here. The couple who run it are lovely and gave great tips for places to visit. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, completely refurbished. We will come again one day. Thank you for having us.
Outstanding ,very welcoming family run hotel .food was excellent ,great breakfast .pizzas were delicious as was the wine .room was immaculate .set in a great location looking over to mull .
Friendly warm welcome to this lovely hotel. Still awaiting the finishing touches to the refurb, this is going to be fantastic when finished.
The food was delicious and it was lovely to have a little swim off the beach in front.
We will be back again.
Warm welcome from Shaley and Peter. Comfortable room. The hotel is in new ownership and has undergone a huge amount of refurbishment. Breakfast was adequate as was evening dinner from a limited menu. Hotel in a quiet location with stunning views.
Great stay for a short work trip at the newly refurbished Lochaline Hotel. Been staying here for years, and the new owners have done a great job of re-modelling the rooms to be all en suite. Warm welcome (even late on a Sunday night), hearty breakfast and the biggest TV in a hotel room I've ever seen, not that you need it when you have views like this!
The owners are lovely. Do everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The dining room and bed room were immaculately clean with a huge bathroom. The hotel is having a major over hall and is not completely finished and there is some evidence of this.
The location is fantastic with beautiful views.
Reservierung
