"The room was extraordinarily hot and we had to ask housekeeping for a fan which should already be in each room since UK summers are hot now. Pleasant helpful staff and complimentary breakfast was divine! Healds Hall is a lovely property and the grounds are gorgeous!"

"Excellent staff very friendly and the food was very good indeed. Cosy and intimate bar which welcomed our dog and we enjoyed our meals. We stayed in the cottage opposite so very easy. "Second stay at this hotel, so it must be good! We had another enjoyable stay, and would return again! Staff helpful and pleasant. Room spacious and clean with kettle and refreshments. Comfy bed, clean towels, shampoo and body wash, ironing board, iron, hair dryer, safe and TV. Everything one needs! Excellent breakfast, and about a 15 minutes walk into the City Centre. Car Parking available at the hotel too for an extra cost."
"The room that we were first given was very dusty and looked as if it had not been cleaned for a long time so we were given another room. In this room the heating did not work so we were given a stand alone heater.
The up side was that the gentleman on reception did everything he could to resolve these issues which he did to our satisfaction.
The breakfast was very nice and the service from the one lady that went round like a hurricane doing everything was first class."

The staff were super communicative in the lead up to the booking, they'd asked if we'd prefer a room away from the hall which was hosting a Motown night since they saw we had an infant with us, and they called on the day to ask if we'd prefer the sofa bed or cot for the infant. They provided a small portion of cooked breakfast for the little guy too which was a nice touch! The only downside was the lack of lift, and we had a lot of luggage to carry up to the room. My little one enjoy the bath tub A LOT! Really big, spacious room."
