Giving it a good rating more because of how helpful the staff member was. Weeks prior to my check in I had called and made request and when I checked in the same person I spoke to remembered our conversation weeks before and said everything was as discussed. He was very friendly and went out of his way to accommodate us. The property was well kept and no issues with the rooms. Free parking and secluded which helps due to the surrounding area. Ive heard of the city reputation but my experience was great. We went to the store, grabbed dinner scoped out the surroundings before our concert event and it all was calm and enjoyable. I would stay here again.

Driving to the property the area surrounding it is extremely trashy and run down. The staff were all helpful answering questions and smooth process checking in. At first glance the room looks very clean but I found hair under my blankets, the shower was dirty, and there was some pills in the AC. There isn't much space to put your stuff down and no chair in the room to do your makeup. When we checked out that was also an easy process and we stood outside waiting for the Uber and a mouse ran across the parking lot from the hotel.

The property is located in a lot of the shady area of Oakland but I feel safe being in this motel. When I arrived it was clean but we see some cigarette stain on the toilet seat and the AC knobs are all gone. No extra blankets only sheets so my kids and I were freezing at night. Since we’re just there for the concert it’s really close to Oakland arena and that’s what I’m looking for . If you have a car, u need to pay $6 for parking fee. Otherwise this property I will go back to only if I have an event in Oakland

The neighborhood is not the best, but the parking and rooms felt safe. It was surprisingly quiet given how close it was to the freeway. I don't think I'll stay again, but it was great value for the bay area.

Stayed here for the Ariana Grande concert at Oakland Arena. The location is perfect as it’s only a few minutes from the venue. Of course you’re always a little weary when having to stay in Oakland but to be honest this property was not bad at all. The outside neighborhood is a little sketch but the hotel is gated and with video surveillance. The room itself is cleaned and comfortable. The bed was great and the linens were clean. Starr was courteous and friendly. The only bummer was having to pay $6 for parking but bc of the security I was happy to pay it. Overall I think I’ll stay here if I ever have to go to Oakland again!

The room was small and clean, was worth the price and we heard no noises while sleeping after reading the reviews we were not sure to stay here, but since it was close to the Arena we got home safe and fast.

Overall stay was good. Clean room, clean linens and towels. No blow dryer. You can literally walk out on to Coliseum Way to get food. My only complaint is the bed was hard as a rock.
