We visited Sunday to Thursday and everything was great. Friendly staff and gorgeous hotel, very clean too. It was our BD and Anniversary and the hotel left us some goodies to the room with a nice note. That was special.

Nice stay, safe and excellent for relaxing. Staff and service is very good. Nice location and nobody disturbs you while late night walks at the beach and pool area. Nearby Vallarta adventure is worth trying. We really enjoyed the dolphin swim.

My first time in Puerto Vallarta and this one did not disappoint! So many food options at the restaurants. Only thing that was a little sad was the room service options. Wasn’t very much but my best friend and I had such a blast! We cannot wait to come back or even visit some of Riu’s other locations. ☺️♥️

Very good food with a variety of options. Good drinks and the housekeeping staff is amazing, but food service could have been better. It was as if they would only pay attention to your table once or twice during your dining experience but overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend !

Everything was wonderful and beautifully upgraded after their remodel! Felt safe and had a great time with toehr guests. It didn’t feel too crowded and had plenty of space for lounging by the pool or beach. We took advantage of their spa as well and it was a wonderful experience. Only reason we took a star away was the food was just ok. My husband did get sick one night from the food and I got a little a bit too. We are also big gym goers and would have liked the gym to be bigger because it got crowded fast in the morning. Overall customer service was excellent!

Very clean, both hotel and beach. Great food and drink options. Lots of effort and variety in the buffet. Entertainment could be better with little to do except be in the sun, eat and drink. Some daytime activities in the theatre area would be nice. We thought being adult only, the entertainment would be sophisticated but mostly was amateurish and finished early. Our bed was way too soft which gave us back ache and apparently they’re all the same. Cannot fault any of the staff - friendly and professional. Relaxing atmosphere.

The RIU was a typical RIU with the exception of the pools. Found the pools to be very boring. They reminded me of a backyard pool. The food was great from buffet to speciality restaurants. Service was top notch.

This is a 5 star resort the beds are very comfortable I slept so good, the food dining options are amazing the buffet has everything you need and the steak house is delicious with many options to choose from. The staff if friendly and caring and accommodating. Special thanks to Lupita our cleaning lady she was wonderful. I can’t wait to go back it’s absolutely magical. On the last night we were able to watch the fireworks this place is top notch.

Nice property with good service all around. Dining options were decent (definitely not the best I have had at a Riu Palace before). Property was recently renovated so seemed very nice for conditions overall. Is convenient as it's only about a 20 min ride to/from airport. Rooms were clean, though it seemed like regardless there was always grit/dust on the floors. Breakfast was likely our favorite meal during the day and it was nice to have the sports bar open 24/7. As for the individual restaurants geared towards dinner, would have liked the option to set up reservations, but they were all walk-in only (unless you paid extra to be part of Elite) and many times were faced with 40 min wait for table; food was nothing spectacular at these dining options either (though I may be pickier than most as a former chef). Overall, it's not a bad property and did like the location and lack of seaweed on the beach (as you would find with many locations on the Gulf/Atlantic side), was just left with wanting more and thinking back to other Riu Palace properties I have previously stayed at with fonder memories. Its definitely worth looking at, especially if you are wanting an Adults only property in PV.

Loved the ala carte restaurants! Property was the cleanest I’ve ever seen. Rooms are wonderful. Staff was wonderful. Foodin the Buffetwas great. The buffet servers were exceptional. Basically just wanted to sit out in the sun and eat and drink and that’s what we did. There was not much in the way of activities but we did not care about that. This is a great place to just chill out and relax. I loved that around the pool in the afternoons. They sometimes brought around Popsicles or ice cream and they even had a walking taco station one day. Pepe’s foods have the greatest grilled chicken. We had a great time.

The ocean view was excellent, the hotel was luxurious and the resturant food was amazing. There was many options to choose from as well as plenty of bars to edulge in. The pools were refreshing and the service was outstanding. Highly reccomend this hotel to anyone traveling to puerto vallarta

This resort was beyond my expectations. Starting from the smooth check-in process with the incredibly nice staff. They are all bilingual so no need to stress about your lack of Spanish proficiency. They are very patient and super attentive. There is a money exchange kiosk in the lobby so it makes it safe and convenient for all guests to exchange large amounts if necessary. All bars and restaurants have great hours to allow you to get food or snacks at your leisure. There is one 24/7 bar to accommodate those who want to stay up lol. The food was good especially the tacos at Pepe's food by the poolside. The sunsets are spectacular. They have options to upgrade your rooms to the Elite Club to have access to more exclusive lounges (I recommend you do this when you book. They might sell out by the time you come in). The rooms are super clean and the housekeeping team is tremendously quick to act when you request something. As far as entertainment, we did not need to leave the resort grounds because they had different shows every night. We really enjoyed our stay and we'll be back for sure.

This was my first time at an all inclusive resort and it was the best experience ever. The actual hotel is stunning. Everything is spotless. The main entrance is beautiful. The walk out to the pools is equally as magnificent. The pools are nice and clean and there are plenty of places to sit. The beach is clean and there aren't too many people trying to sell you things. The restaurants are amazing and for a week stay, you'll be able to try all of them. 10/10 would recommend.

Everything was great, really enjoyed our visit. There were only a couple things I noticed. To get to the bathrooms you had to use the stairs and the stairs were slippery so hold on to the handrail and take your time. Another concern that doesn’t affect me, is people with mobility issues that have to use a ramp have to go a bit further than they should, it’s not set up the best for someone who has mobility issues. I would definitely recommend going.

The resort staff is friendly with decent drinks but the overall vibe of the resort is age 50 and over. The pool area didn't have much activities or music playing. On Friday there was a neon party at their sister resort which they bus you to but there's kids on that property. Food onsite is decent but you can't make reservations. For the steakhouse I recommend getting there at 5 to put your name on the list and get a pager and go upstairs to get ready so by 7ish your table will be ready.

Absolutely loved our recent stay with Riu Palace Pacífico. The staff was amazing and had amazing attention to detail from check in to check out we were thoroughly impressed. The food was delicious and our favorite restaurant was Krsytal. Our room was very clean consistently kept and restocked our mini bar. Overall I highly recommend and will be retuning in the near future.
