Nice property with good service all around. Dining options were decent (definitely not the best I have had at a Riu Palace before). Property was recently renovated so seemed very nice for conditions overall. Is convenient as it's only about a 20 min ride to/from airport.
Rooms were clean, though it seemed like regardless there was always grit/dust on the floors. Breakfast was likely our favorite meal during the day and it was nice to have the sports bar open 24/7. As for the individual restaurants geared towards dinner, would have liked the option to set up reservations, but they were all walk-in only (unless you paid extra to be part of Elite) and many times were faced with 40 min wait for table; food was nothing spectacular at these dining options either (though I may be pickier than most as a former chef).
Overall, it's not a bad property and did like the location and lack of seaweed on the beach (as you would find with many locations on the Gulf/Atlantic side), was just left with wanting more and thinking back to other Riu Palace properties I have previously stayed at with fonder memories. Its definitely worth looking at, especially if you are wanting an Adults only property in PV.
