"Mostly a good stay. Suites are big and comfortable, it was convenient, the breakfast was good, staff was nice. Rooms were dated with some stains on carpets but they were clean and everything worked. Pool is nice but closes early (8p) and basketball court was fun. They make you sign a paper about no parties and a list of pool rules, signs all over about what not to do (use your own coffee cup you brought at the breakfast buffet)..its all fine but makes it feel extremely cheap and less welcoming. It's a hotel, people expect to be able to do things, just price it in and then stop with the signs."

"Good value for the price paid. Rooms are quaint, issue with the ac in the room, felt very damp. Due to the dampness, the overhead light in the bathroom wasn’t working. Sheets are threadbare, bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast had hard boiled eggs, cheese sticks, juices, bagels, oatmeal, peanut butter, etc. balcony was nice, 2 wooden rocking chairs. Pool and hot tub, screened in, usable all year round. Convenient to all Lancaster attractions and farms. Bottom line: clean and would stay there again"

"This hotel is in a very good location and is a good value for the money. My only criticism is that there was significant traffic noise from Route 30! (perhaps ask for your rooms on the back-side of the hotel) The staff is helpful, not really friendly, but professional. The TV remote was not working in our room, and the gentleman from the Front Desk eventually came and re-programmed something to get it working. The phone, calling between rooms, also did not work and the woman at the Front Desk said that perhaps the previous guest had put the phone on Do Not Disturb, but she was unable to correct that from the Front Desk (?) The included breakfast was adequate. The frozen breakfast foods (sausage/egg biscuits and breakfasts burritos) were acceptable and easily heated in the provided microwaves. It would've been nice to have a little more FRESH fruit (but I understand the waste that entails.) Overall, we would probably stay here again."

"Friendly and welcoming staff. We stayed in a Caboose with 1 double bed and a set of bunk-beds. The kids said their beds were comfy. The double bed was too firm and uncomfortable. The bathroom is tiny, with just a toilet and a stand-up shower (very cramped & the floor was creaky). The sink is located outside the bathroom in the room with the bunk-beds. There was a small table with 2 chairs, a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker located in the Caboose as well. The accommodations could use some minor repairs & updates (windowsills are peeling, the curtain rods are not sturdy and fell with the faintest touch, panel cover had a hole, etc). Most of the electrical outlets are in use for the AC, fridge, and lights, so it was a struggle to find someplace to plug in phone chargers. We did not take advantage of the on-site restaurant, toy train museum, or other amenities. All-in-all, our stay was pleasant and the kids really enjoyed staying in a unique "room." The location may be a little out of the way, but it was the perfect place for watching the sunset over the open fields."
