"The host did not disclose they live there and refused to vacate the property during our scheduled rental time. They had pets that was also undisclosed which would have caused concern for allergic guests. The contract was changed after signing to add additional fees. It is against vrbo policy for the owner to live on the premises. Thankfully vrbo was helpful and offered a refund but our event was displaced with no where to go within one hour of its start time. "

10/10 Excellent
This is a wonderful gracious old home, very central to all areas of Lancaster. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and there are lots of little extras available for guests throughout the property. A 3 course breakfast was provided each morning, this is set in the formal dining room and was a good opportunity to talk with fellow guests. The garden is delightful as are all the common areas of the house. We highly recommend this B & B and would love to return.
