Motel 6 in Northwest High Country from NZ$108

"We stayed for one night in a king business suite. The sitting area was large and the sleeping area was, too. The bed was comfortable and they had great pillows. The bathroom was ok. The sink and vanity were not for short people, it was high. The tub did not have a grab bar in it. I probably should have booked an accessible room. My 89 yr old mother doesn’t use a wheelchair, but the stability of a grab bar in the shower works wonders. The breakfast food was actually very good. The staff were great. From check in, the cleaning folks, the dining area folks, all were hospitable in their demeanor. I would certainly recommend this hotel. It was comfortable, clean, great staff, good breakfast. It’s a no frills spot. There was an indoor pool and workout room, which we did not use. "

"The only complaints, but not really are that the elevator is old and seems that it may need to be serviced and the hallway smelled like pot. The pot was bad enough in the hallway around 1 am it was in our room by the door."

"Hotel was excellent, very nice, with great staff. Bar on the second floor was great for sitting outside. Breakfast was pretty limited, but better then not having anything. I would definitely stay again"

"Everything was wonderful! Would liked to have had one good reading light. The host was easy to deal with, the hot tub was perfect temp, and everything was exactly as represented. Perfect for our private getaway!"
