"Cabin is comfortable with all the amenities one would want and a thoughtful and attentive contact. View from the cabin and the bluff beyond is fantastic, with some area to the property to walk and see some lizards skittering over the rocks. The only caveat--you will want to spend time on the cabin grounds, but there's a nearby highway where noise bounces off the ridge back at you, pretty much incessant during the day, and the trucks gearing up and down can be LOUD. The most beautiful place on earth!
"There are no words to describe the view of Desoto Falls from all rooms of the house! It is just spectacular, and you can hear the Falls as well. The house is amazing and appointed with every luxury a guest could desire. The owner is an artist with exquisite taste, and it shows in every detail from the design of the house to its furnishings. This Vrbo is unique because the owner is closely involved in the property. He greets us upon arrival and makes us feel welcome. Over the years, he has become a friend who we look forward to seeing at each visit. He loves his property, and I feel grateful that he shares it with us. The view and the house are wonderful, but he makes it extra special! The location is perfect. It is close to DeSoto State Park and has access to trails just a short walk down the road. The town of Mentone is 10 minutes away and has some nice restaurants, farmers' markets, and community activities. Cliff House is the BEST vacation EVER! I will continue to come back as often as possible."
