Would 10/10 recommend other friends to stay here! Cottage is beautiful and quiet. It's by the lake with kayaks and life jackets - though we did not have the chance to use them. Property owner/manager was prompt in response and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a great time at this cottage. It's in a very remote location and extremely quiet. The best word to describe it is serenity. Because of its location there is no cell service but they provide high speed Starlink internet so we could use that to communicate with the rest of the world when required. We did have issues with the lock upon arrival, so we connected to the WiFi to message the host and he was able to help us get in. The cottage has plenty of space and they provide all dishes and most other necessities. Being up in the Bruce Peninsula, the dark skies are overwhelming at night, with a clear view of the stars as well as the arm of the Milky Way. They also provide kayaks so we enjoyed a paddle out on the lake with virtually nobody else around. A nice relaxing and peaceful location, would love to return again.

Wonderful Location

This is a great place! If you’re looking for a cottage with view, it won’t disappoint. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, and bonfires by the water. The host was easy going and open to suggestions. The place could use a couple of small upgrades, but we loved the layout and all of the stone on the walls/fireplace. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved staying at this cottage. It is located right on Georgian Bay, with a beautiful view. The cottage itself has ample space with lots of bedrooms (all have blackout curtains) and a beautiful wood interior. We didn't spend much time inside since the outdoors has so much to offer. I spent my summers in Cape Chin as a child and this stay brought back so many memories. It is located right in the middle of Lion's Head and Tobermory, allowing an easy trip to a sandy beach or shops/groceries.

Great location, beautiful view, house poorly maintained

We rented this house on the Huron lake a year ago, based on comments read on the same property previously offered on another platform. Great and quiet location with a beautiful view of the lake. Nicely designed house but unfortunately poorly maintained. When we came in, it was super hot and there was a lot water on the floors because of some of the AC units leaking on both levels.The floors and surfaces on the main level were dirty with dust, dirt, crumbs, tissues and dead bugs, the fridge was not properly cleaned, dirty dishes in the cupboards, kitchenware clean and dirty placed random on the countertop.The owner quickly called the cleaning person who came back. Rude and not cooperative, he said he did his job earlier and left. It was late, we started a serious clean up, change the beds, wash the dishes but did not pickup all the mouse droppings under the kitchen sink (!). We could not move to an other house meeting our needs (6 dog) on short notice, after an 8 hour drive, on Canada Day WE. We stayed in half of the house, without 2 of the bedrooms because of the humidity and smell, 2 slept on the couch for 5 nights. Bring drinking water, the water is only cookable. Note there are no cushions for the outdoor furnitures. Soap & shampoo not provided. I stop here and join a pic of the view but nothing else by respect for the owner, hoping he will fix things. We were not offered the quality of stay and peace of mind we were expecting for our 5 day vacations and for the price.
