Entire Lake House on Lake Memphremagog, dead end RD, private. 30 min to Jay Peak

10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful property! We loved using the kayaks and canoe, and enjoyed spending time on the screened in porch. Cornhole and many games at the house were a hit! The main floor is accessible layout is very, which made it easy for my elderly parents. Overall this is a great spot for a multigenerational vacation."

"It’s our second year staying here, and it’s such a beautiful place, perfectly located near Lake Willoughby. There have been new owners since November, and the place is even cleaner than before. The cottage smelled amazing when we arrived! The only things I would mention are that there weren’t enough pots and pans, and we ran out of toilet paper."

Cozy Mountain View Retreat

Cozy Mountain View Retreat

8/10 Good
"The place is listed as entire house but it’s a second floor 2 bedroom apartment. Was very clean and quiet. Check in and check information on the listing only gave check out information. I reached out via message and had no response until after we had been in. We had to figure out where to enter after look in the lower floor door it was occupied but no one was home. Also listing lists as pet friendly but rule book in the place said no pets. From other reviews it has had pets. Just confusing information. All in all it was fine and we only were staying one night But would recommend changing the rule book and put in check in information on the listing. We would go back but first time was a little confusing"

Lakeside Isbell Cottage and Isbellita Guest Cottage

Lakeside Isbell Cottage and Isbellita Guest Cottage

8/10 Good
"Mary was an excellent host, who responded quickly with helpful information on both our arrival and departure. Pull in the driveway and you are able to park 3 cars easily behind the house, with a separate exit that continues on around the other side of the house. The private beach is across the road, through two hedges. The dock is sturdy, the beach is sandy, the water is shallow and there are good chairs for relaxing by the water. There is a general store about 100 yards up the road where you can purchase most things, including breakfast/sandwiches to go. The large cottage is quirky, yet comfortable, as might be expected in an older house. We happened to be there during some very hot days and while there were fans in the larger cottage, they did little to reduce the heat at night, especially on the second floor. We did not locate a fan in the small cottage, but it did have ceiling fans and we brought a fan over from the large cottage to help. The small cottage was actually cooler than the large cottage as it only had one floor. We enjoyed our time at Isabell Cottage and Isbellita Guest Cottages on Lake Willoughby. Thank you, Mary!"

10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at Joe’s cabin was amazing! The home had everything our family needed. Beds were comfortable, rooms all had working ac units and window fans, bathrooms were clean and supplied with basic tolietries, kitchen and house was well-equipped, and set in a beautiful, relaxing setting near the lake that made it easy to unwind and the kids had a blast kayaking and making smores at the fire pit in his yard. Joe was an exceptional host as well. He is very responsive, and genuinely invested in making our stay special. We made memories here that will last a lifetime, and our kids are already asking when we can come back. Highly recommend!"
