"Stayed one night at The BoardWalk Hotel in San Diego on 4/15 and had a great experience overall! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach, plus tons of restaurants and bars nearby which made everything super convenient and fun. The room itself was well-equipped with great amenities like a full-size fridge, strong A/C, and really modern features in the bathroom. One of my favorite perks was having access to free beach rentals from the shop next door—that was such a nice bonus. The only downside I noticed was that the floors in the room didn’t seem very clean. After walking around barefoot for a short time, my feet got pretty dirty, so I’d suggest a more thorough mopping between guests. Aside from that, everything else felt very clean and well-maintained. I’d definitely recommend staying here, especially for the location and overall value!"

"Everyone here was so kind and accommodating. We are from AZ & booked this room last minute after deciding to stay in SoCal after our Disney trip at the beginning of the week. We are always in PB and have never stayed here and have been missing out! It is literally right on the boardwalk, our room overlooked the ocean and all we had to do was step outside the door to be at the beach. The staff was sweet, there is a cool restaurant next door, everything you could want in PB is walkable and we were always able to find parking with no issue which is a huge plus. We had our 11 month old daughter with us and for just us three it was perfect - would love to be back soon! "

"The room was cool, clean, and comfortable. The view from our second floor room was beautiful throughout. We enjoyed the pool, and hottub, the boardwalk, the phenomenal sunset and ocean views, the genuine and accommodating staff, and the breakfast. "

"Booked this stay for my daughters birthday. The property was perfect! Our stay couldn't have been any better. Location was great, the rooms had everything we needed and very comfortable beds and parking available to accommodate all vehicle types. "

"Check in staff were great and lovely. The bartender on duty at the pool was lazy, rude and rolled his eyes when we ordered an additonal drink, saying that we hadn't actually ordered two, just one and now he had to make another one. Food took almost an hour to receive it from the time of ordering. The bathroom shampoo, conditioner (amenities) were rusty around the bottle, dirty and said "non-refillable" but 2 of the pumps were out of the bottle. Very unhygienic and false advertising. Poor experience for $400+ a night."
