Quiete Taormina Naxos, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

"We chose the Quiete for the pool, beach club and a place to wind down after a few days sight seeing. The pool area is lovely, pool bar service is great and it is well cared for. All the staff we engaged with were friendly and helpful with good English. The evening meal on our second night was really good and the kitchen coped well with some tables and a big group of about 50 all eating at the same time. Breakfast was average, a good selection but at 9.30 the scrambled egg looks to have been put out at 7.30 and not refreshed. Kitchen were happy to fried egg to order but not an omelette. If you are a coffee drinker and haven't paid the extra for a room where a coffee maker is included then you won't get coffee as they don't do instant. And while there is a kettle and tea bags there is no milk provided. And when we asked about it there wasn't an offer of any. The bathroom was a bit tired given how recently the place had been upgraded and hot water wasn't too hot in the mornings. One real annoyance was that one of our terrace chairs had gone walkabout to a neighbouring terrace. We spotted this on checking in and ask for it to be either brought back or replaced, 2 days later that hadn't been dealt with despite a second reminder. Overall a nice place to escape the bustle of Taormina, be aware that the walk to get a bus up is a good 10 minutes, some along a main road with poor pavement. However the local shops and restaurants are good and no touristy gifts."

"We had a wonderful 3 nights here!! In fact we were only scheduled for 2 we asked to stay another night and we were accommodated with no problems. Everyone is super friendly, the rooms are beautiful and everything is clean and well kept. I will definitely be staying here again!!"

"Very well appointed guest house owned and run by caring hosts. There were many things we appreciated about our stay: - daily servicing - parking right outside - restaurant recommendations and local knowledge - communication via WhatsApp while we were out and about - homemade breakfast - attention to detail in the pool area with the heated salt pool, hot shower and hose for cleaning sand after beach trips My only feedback would be that our air conditioning wasn’t powerful enough so it was difficult to sleep. But we stayed during an unusually hot week, so what to do!"

"Our family of 8 adults & 5 children under 5 had a wonderful stay. Gabriele & his staff were extremely attentive and responsive throughout our stay. We had a few issues with the house initially, and they were quick to address them and make sure we were comfortable. The property itself is beautiful. The grounds were always very well maintained, and with the privacy and surroundings, we truly felt like we were staying in our own little oasis. It was a great setup for our large family, especially with the children. One thing we hadn’t fully realized before arriving was the distance and transportation to Taormina. It was typically at least a 25-minute drive to Corso Umberto, and taxis/Ubers can be quite expensive, especially for a large group. We would definitely recommend having a rental car when staying here. In our opinion, walking from the house into the nearby town isn’t practical. There is a market about 10 min away, as well as several great pastry shops and bakeries within about a 5-min drive for breakfast and other necessities. We hired the chef 1 night and had a fantastic delicious expereince. Definitely recommend. The only other thing we felt could be improved was the additional charge for use of the pool light and air conditioner, Considering the nightly price of the property, we personally feel these amenities should be included in the overall rental price rather than charged separately. We would still happily return in future!"

"We absolutely loved staying at Villa Ambra. It was very spacious with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for the 6 of us. The villa was absolutely charming with its well kept swimming pool and outdoor patios. The owner and his son were so incredibly nice and helpful, especially acting as our interpreter when we had car trouble with our rental. Thank you again so such a wonderful stay!"

"Our stay for a group of 15 worked amazingly. Space for everyone. The grounds, pool and interior are far more beautiful in person than the pictures. Anything we needed was addressed right away by the staff. The view of Etna is a huge plus."

"Absolutely amazing vacation here! Friendly staff, delicious food, clean room and close to Taormina and Naxos beach shops Overall excellent!! Unfortunately some guests do not pick up after themselves so at times lobby not clean but that’s understandable Could not have asked for anything more!👍"
