Beautiful hotel, they turn the A/C off in the off season? Had a party our last night, noisy till midnight. Room was nice , good bathroom. Bed comfortably, great view of ocean, we were right out front. Breakfast was very good, lots of choices. Front desk staff were indifferent, with problems. Waiting staff very very attentive

Great staff - lovely hotel

The hotel is a fantastic delight, and great value. It had a unique character which was classy and practical. The best part was the hotel staff, who were incredibly helpful and cheerful at all times. Due to plane times, we arrived 3 hours before check in but could store our luggage, change into swimming gear, and use the hotel beach and facilities before we had officially checked in at 2pm. Our flight out was at 8.30pm but the hotel also allowed us to use the beach and facilities for the day after we had checked out at 10am. This took away a huge stress for us, and gave us an extra day of enjoyable holiday. The beach area was open and friendly, and near enough to some rocks for some great snorkelling. We would STRONGLY RECOMMEND this hotel!

The sea view is great. It is a good buffet breakfast although could be more fruit. Decor is slightly tired. Only 3 pillows in room for 2 people. There is a sewage smell in the room so slept with balcony door open, which was ok because Aircon wasn't working.

Lots of noise during the day due to pool deck being resurfaced. Pool closed until further notice due to the work. Poor noise insulation. We could hear chatter from adjacent and other rooms on the property. Air conditioning was not cooling. Good breakfast buffet except for bad tasting powered eggs. Go for the hard boiled eggs.

POSITIVES: The property is right on the beech. A sea view from the terrace was magnificent. Our delux double room on the second floor was light and airy. The bed was comfortable and bed sheets clean. Towels changed daily. We visited in early March so the heating was on, but you can adjust the temperature yourself. The hotel is conveniently located only a couple of minutes away from the bus stop for Taormina. The hotel lobby was pleasant and the hotel grounds clean and tidy. The outside swimming pool was closed but it looked pretty small for such a large hotel. The staff were pleasant. NEGATIVES Sparsely furnished bedroom. An extra chair and a small table would be good. Generally, parts of the building outside need maintenance (crumbling facade on our terrace). Scrambled eggs at breakfast looked and smelled strange. Generally the food quality did not seem to be very good. We stayed at a relatively quiet time but when a new group of guests arrived we could hear the noises, doors closing and showers running at night. The spa was closed for maintenance so not much to do around the hotel. In summary, a pleasant stay and a good value for money but some changes in the upkeep and a better food quality needed.

Overall a great stay for the price. Saying it’s a 4 star hotel is a bit of a stretch. There was a tiny hole in the ceiling and water damage on some of the floor but the balcony with a view was great. The beach is fantastic and the breakfast is great. Everything gets charged to your room onsite so lunch, dinner, drinks, snacks which is really nice.

Hands down one of the worst hotels around. Outdated roomed , shocking food . Shockingly and rude staff ( when asked if they have any cold cuts other than pork , they replied ”in this country we eat pork” not sure what that meant ! , staff trying to scam you , will never ever stay in the place ever again and will advise everyone I know to stay far far away . I left genuinely shocked
