The property is beautiful, the room was extremely spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was fantastic, and we can't say enough about how lovely the staff was! "This villa was definitely not what we expected it to be. It was not as portrayed in the listing. It was clean although they have a problem with ants in the bedrooms.Bedrooms are poorly equipped. No proper storage for clothes. Bedrooms were large and had plenty of room for a dresser, a chair to sit and a desk or table but there was nothing. Felt like a university dorm room. No blankets on the beds. Waited 2 days for blankets. That is unacceptable. Management company clearly not doing its job. Very sparse on furniture. Bare walls, no artwork. Felt very unfinished. Washing machine but no dryer. Management company gave mixed messages about drinkable water. No ice maker in fridge. No machine to make a pot of coffee for large group. Only a single pod machine. Definitely not equipped efficiently for large groups despite having 6 bedrooms. BBQ was a joke. No information provided about amenities close by such as groceries, good local restaurants. All would have been helpful. Location is isolated and quiet. Great view of Etna. We felt we paid for a 4 star property but it was only a 2 star! I was very disappointed and felt tricked by the pictures in the booking listing. "

"I had an amazing stay at Dipladenia Garden Country Resort! From the moment we arrived and were greeted by a handshake from Mariana (I hope I am spelling her name right) the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable — they truly make the place special. The resort itself is beautiful, peaceful, and well cared for, with plenty of charm and character. Practical details were also a huge plus: having convenient on-site parking made coming and going so easy and access to the highway was easy. We also gave the staff a load of our laundry and they had it washed in about an hour. If you use this service keep in mind the drying is done on a clothesline so allow yourself a day before needing anything. Everything was clean, organized, and stress-free. Great on-site bar with light fare as well. Pool was amazing. Highly recommend especially at this price point and especially if you are driving. "

"Nice and quiet spot surrounded by beautiful gardens. Rooms were very clean with nice interior. Dined at the restaurant for dinner which was delicious and breakfast was generous. Pool was nice with a beautiful view of Mt Etna. Highly recommend if you want something a bit more intimate and away from the larger towns. "
