The best time to visit Noordhoek is during the dry, warm summer months, from November to March, when the weather is ideal for outdoor activities and beach visits.
During this period, you can expect long, sunny days with average temperatures ranging from 20°C to 26°C. This makes it superb for enjoying Noordhoek Beach, horse riding, or exploring the surrounding natural beauty. It's also an excellent time for activities like hiking in the Silvermine Nature Reserve or cycling along Chapman's Peak Drive.
The shoulder seasons, April to May and September to October, also offer pleasant weather with fewer crowds. Temperatures are milder, typically between 17°C and 22°C, and there's less chance of rain compared to winter. This can be a good option for couples or solo travellers looking for a more relaxed experience with good conditions for sightseeing and outdoor adventures.
The winter months, from June to August, are cooler and wetter, with temperatures around 13°C to 18°C. While it's not ideal for beach holidays, it's the best time for whale watching along the coast, as Southern Right whales migrate to the warmer waters to calve.
