"Schönes Appartementhaus mit kleinem Poolbereich. Unterschiedliche Zimmer, das Einzelzimmer im 3. Stock (37) war sehr charmant, ohne Küche, also eher ein Hotelzimmer, aber mit Minibar, Wasserkocher und Kapselkaffeemaschine und großer Terrasse. Perfekt für eine Person. "Excellent location, only 3km to Niendorf and the beach. Rural location and very quiet, also because of the hotel complex being spread over a beautiful large park-like area. The setting was beautiful. The breakfast was amazing. Overall an excellent stay and would certainly return."

"The staff was really welcoming and even gave us a tour of the facilities. In the basement there is a kids room and also a bar with free dart and pool which we enjoyed very much in the evening. The rooms where nice and had everything we needed. The location was also very nice, close to the ocean and to some alright restaurants. Breakfast was fantastic, not overwhelming offers (which is a good thing) and what was there was of great quality. "

"Room was nicely decorated and hotel is in a good location. No air conditioning meant we had to have the balcony door open all night and the loud gravel and sensor light outside were a little irritating. Would also be nice to have a fridge and coffee making facilities."

"We had a nice stay at Hotel Villa Gropius. We liked our two balconies. "

"Nice breakfast and great facilities for a family with teenagers. Not so easy for people who don't know German as signs and information was only in German. Our sofabed was not made up and towels where missing although we booked for four persons. It was still not done for the evening as they promised. It worked out in the end thanks to the friendly night portier. The bowling area was not so clean. Pool table cues broken."

"Sauberkeit war ok. Aber die Sessel sind abgenutzt und schon defekt. Es gibt lose Stromkabel. Abgeplatzte Fliesen im Eingangsbereich. Für den Preis eher unverschämt."

"Wir waren für zwei Nächte dort und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Zimmer war hell und freundlich eingerichtet, die Betten sehr kuschelig und bequem. Das Frühstück wurden individuell nach unseren Wünschen angerichtet und am liebevoll gedeckten Tisch serviert. Herr Schmidt ist ein exzellenter Gastgeber, der mit seiner freundlichen Art sofort dafür sorgt, dass man sich wohlfühlt. Wir können uns sehr gut vorstellen, für einen weiteren Aufenthalt zurückzukommen."
