Upon arrival they informed me that I had booked my rooms through Expedia and Expedia never sent them the reservation so they didn’t have our rooms. They wanted to offer me two rooms to accommodate all 5 adults. "Check in took some time my reservation was not easy to find. I had been in transit for 24 hours with many problems with gate changes etc. The more I stay in Minagua I realize Los Pinos was the best for me. "

"We arrived in Managua late evening and Casa Lucia had a driver waiting for us.Claudio greeted us upon our arrival and made us feel at home. Claudio and his mother were very accommodating. The breakfast menu had a nice variety and the coffee was excellent. Location was great, bars & restaurants in walking distance. We would definitely recommend and stay there again."

"The room was very spacious and the beds very comfortable. Also the shower worked very well which is a luxury in Nicaragua. The staff were all lovely and looked after us very well.Everything was exceptionally clean and the garden was extremely pleasant. We found it conveniently placed for exploring Matagalpa and its surroundings. Undoubtedly the best place to stay in the Matagalpa area. Carlito and his wife went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even helped us get medical help when one of our kids got sick. While it’s a bit of a walk from the village, you can easily get a wheelbarrow to get your bags to and from the panga, and there are several great restaurants within 5 minutes."
