Oban Inn

10/10 Excellent

"The property around the Oban is beautiful. When we were there, they were working on upgrades to the outdoor swimming pool. It looked like it was going to be a wonderful outdoor space when it was finished. The front desk staff was extremely helpful. Our room was lovely and spacious. The Oban it’s located at the end of the street near water and is very quiet as a result. It was only a 10 minute walk to theatres, restaurants, and shops. The Oban is definitely a wonderful oasis. We had a great experience there and can highly recommend it."

"We had ants in the kitchen. Contacted front desk twice, both times they said they would look into it and they never got back to me. The facility does not come with any linens, towels, etc. We were flying in from out of province and never received this notice until after we purchased a non-refundable stay. Paper towels were in the unit for the kitchen but when it was used up they said they don’t supply paper towel so we had nothing to wipe up with in kitchen. They had sprayed down the road with some solution that let the bottom of our shoes yucky even the next morning. Very poor experience."

"We had a wonderful stay at the 124 Q. The staff, food, and amenities were top notch. Every staff member we encountered went out of their way to make sure our stay was exceptional. We loved Beth at the bar, the welcome appetizer, the shuttle service, the bicycles, the dining room, and the high end toiletries. The only complaint was not staying in the main building. Workers started banging and moving at 5a and it sounded like it was on top of us. Otherwise, the room was cold, comfortable, and would stay the Q again!"
