A couple hours after checking in, I was told I couldn’t have a birthday party for my son and the staff would call the police and evict us if I did. The whole purpose of getting the room was so my son could have a party and use the pool with his two friends. I got a room big enough for 6 so we could have six in the pool. I was not informed by staff of the no party policy and was refused a refund. I complained to Choice Hotels and they said there is nothing they could or would do about it. This policy must be illegal. I was intimidated by staff with the threat of police, and when I emailed the manager he responded that I had unregistered guests going to use the pool, which I never told him the names of my six guests so how would he know? Also, he said I was told of the policy before booking which is a lie and he has no proof of what I was told. This no parties policy is a bate and switch.

The main issue was the pool heater was not working properly, so the pool was freezing. Positives were the beds were really comfortable, the included breakfast was pretty good, and the location was convenient to everywhere I needed to go.

The employees were very friendly and helpful. One problem was the TV. We couldn't figure out how to change channels. The caretaker came in and helped us. It would be helpful to have a instruction card to go with the TV.

This was second time staying at this location and it surely will not be the last . I am more certain about staying with you all for the quality service I have received each time I visited the airport location. The young man at the front desk was the one who helped me to check in but the young lady was phenomenal. As soon as I get thru the front door I was greeted with the biggest and warmest smile. She assisted the young man to get me a speedy check in and also made my stay a bit better. I had forgot my toothbrush this stay, I immediately called down stairs and the young man let me know you guys had some and I could come down to receive one.when I actually got down stairs I was met with the young lady who informed me I could have coffee any time. That was such a pleasant surprise because I surely needed that. She was the one who actually brought me my tooth brush and as well as one for my husband along with toothpaste. I just would like to certainly thank you all for another great stay. I will see you all again soon. I’m excited about the pool for my next stay. Also the gentleman who I seen upon checking out gave a warm atmosphere as well even though I was leaving the building me he was very friendly and got my day off to a great start for just being that.

The young man when I checked in did an amazing job . His customer service skills were amazing. He made it a quick and easy sign in. Wonderful Job Sir!!! I was in a rush to get me and my husband a good nights rest and we were able to do that. I will definitely be coming back to stay with you all again!

Disappointing
Bed was comfy, bed skirt had food stains on it, breakfast was very disappointing. Nasty eggs and cardboard tasting sausage patties. They also had a fridge full of expired yogurts ..gross. Do yourself a favor and pay $15 extra bucks and stay at the comfort suites in Williamsburg. So much nicer and cleaner

Very nice hotel for a good price.
We've stayed in this hotel several times while our son was doing AIT at Fort Eustis. The staff is very friendly, rooms were clean and in good working order, breakfast was not top notch but good for a hotel breakfast. Our room held 6 people and was comfortable.We enjoyed our stay.

Checked in at 6:00 PM. Sorry laundry and cleaning carts in hallway on the way to room. Room smelled strongly of cleaning solution and was very stuffy. Pillow on bed very uncomfortable. Breakfast was terrible. Waffle batter was old and did not cook properly. Had to discard waffles.

My recent stay at Comfort Suites Airport provided a generally positive experience tainted by a starkly disappointing interaction with a member of the staff. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable, meeting my expectations in terms of quality and upkeep. However, my encounter with the receptionist around 10 pm left a bitter taste. Upon returning to the hotel, I found the doors already closed, requiring a key card for entry. Despite my attempts, the card failed to work, prompting assistance from the reception desk. The receptionist, regrettably, exhibited a level of unprofessionalism and rudeness that marred the otherwise pleasant stay. She attributed the card malfunction to potential demagnetization caused by proximity to other items, particularly my keys. Despite my explanation that the key was kept in my wallet, her demeanor turned hostile. Her disrespectful tone, eye-rolling, and audible sighs escalated the situationu, leaving me feeling disrespected and unheard. Hospitality, a fundamental aspect of the service industry, was sorely lacking in this encounter. The dismissive and almost passive-aggressive behavior exhibited was jarring and unexpected. While her assistance resolved the card issue, the overall experience was tarnished by her lack of professionalism and courtesy. The comfort of the room and the hotel's amenities provided a satisfactory stay, but the memory of the poor customer service overshadows the positive aspects.

I have worked with her for more than 2 years and she is the best hospitality professional I have ever encountered. If you look at the reviews for this hotel on any search engine, you will see that her exceptionally positive reviews outweigh the negative reviews by 25 to 1. We wish you the best in your hotel stays elsewhere.
