  • This is a great place to visit in the North of England.

It’s like stepping back in time to visit a town, farm, colliery village and old hall and getting to experience what it was like to live in those places from about 1910 onwards. There are staff who take on the roles of various locals that really bring this place to life.

This picture is from the town where you can explore a bank, shops, pub, dentists and lots of other things as well as ride in traditional vehicles of the time. Such a brilliant experience.

Amazing location

Lovely small cottage close to the river!! Very well furnished, would definitely recommend for 2-3 people and will likely stay here again when we’re next in the area.

Corbridge is a lovely lively village full of interesting shops, places to eat and places to visit. Daisy Cottage is close to the Centre of the village. One important thing to mention is that the bathroom in the cottage is not upstairs as stated in the description, it is on the ground floor.

Lovely 2 bed cottage to explore corbridge and area. Shame the smart hob wouldn't recognise Pans making it impossible to cook on... would have been helpful to have a folder with instructions and guides to local area in the cottage.
