"Great staff and views from room "

"I was originally booked into a room in the building across the road - but on arrival, I was given an upgrade to a very nice double ensuite room in the main hotel. Some online reviews said it was noisy because there are a lot of bars nearby - but I didn't find it noisy at all. The staff are very kind and friendly. The romm was clean and comfortable. There is no lift - which may be a consideration for some. It has free parking behind the hotel - which, for me, was a big plus as parking around Newcastle is difficult to find and rather expensive. If you don't use a car, West Jesmond Metro Station is a few minutes walk away."

"Spotless room...... Great friendly staff.... Good food and good selection. Only the dated single glazing windows at the front of hotel let's it down slightly as its quite noisy with being on the main road. I always try to get a room to the rear as it's quieter "
