Ample free off-street parking, with a grass-crete parking bay on the verge.. This charming detached ’chocolate box’ cottage sits on the edge of the hamlet of Aydon, two miles north of the picture-postcard village of Corbridge. A quintessential rural retreat, it enjoys a delightful flower garden to the front, and an extensive lawn and superb open aspect to the rear. The garden attracts a great variety of birds and picturesque Aydon Castle is less than a mile’s walk across fields. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

One of the best equipped and nicest cottages we have stayed in.

One of the best equipped and nicest cottages we have stayed in. The back garden is totally secure for dogs, the front garden would be too but possibly the front wall could be jumped depending on the size of dog. Loved being there really relaxing.
