"Lovely hotel,easy check-in, large rooms only issue was it was too warm in bedroom no windows and when we asked for radiators to be turned off we were told they couldn't so fetched ice water and a fan but no plug sockets near bed so that was really a waste of time, so didn't have a good nights sleep. Lovely room, very clean, comfortable beds, lovely shower. We had breakfast the next morning and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I’d fully recommend staying here. "

"We added a trip to stay at Lumley Castle at the end of our Scotland trip because of the similarity to our last name. I'm so glad we did. We stayed in a State Bedroom in the Castle. Because they had no events scheduled for the night we were there we were allowed to explore. It is so well preserved. It was a magical place.
