I just needed a spot to stay for the night and this place was super clean. There was an inline pre check in so checking in was a breeze. Minimal staff but everyone we met was great.

This is a very basic hotel that is exceptionally convenient for catching a cruise ship. Nothing fancy but the price and location are good for the price. I would use it again for an overnight stay.

Great location near lots of fabulous restaurants and the cruise terminal. Nice amenities. Decent water pressure in the shower and COMFORTABLE beds. Friendly and welcoming staff. Good breakfast, but they kept running out of food and coffee. Great accommodation.

The room was a decent size, small but enough space for a day or 2 stay. The bed was big & comfortable. Breakfast was strange, almost like a bagged lunch. We literally received a bag with a fruit cup, a bit of granola, yoghurt & a ham & cheese sandwich. We would stay here again tho if cruise if from Brooklyn.

Welcoming front desk staff, helpful. Clean rooms and lobby. Shower was good. Bed was not super comfortable but ok. Sheets were pilly. Breakfast was ok. Overall good value for your money. Good location.

We really enjoyed our stay! Staff were SUPER helpful and accommodating. Location felt safe near both the police and fire stations. Little bit of a hike to the nearest subway station, or a quick Lyft ride. Would stay again!

The Lodge at Red Hook was a clean and comfortable place to stay. Restaurants were an easy walk from the hotel and from the cruise terminal if you need a hotel prior to a cruise.

The manager at The Lodge went above and beyond to sort out what could have been very stressful situation. He sorted out our double booking with Expedia (who hadn't informed us of the double booking). He arranged another hotel, a taxi and when we arrived back early the following morning (around 9am) to drop off our cases we were able to check in as they had a room available for us, which we were extremely grateful for. 5 stars to the manager and our massive thanks for sorting it out. We will recommend your hotel to anyone. Thank you so much.

The location was perfect for where we wanted to be. The roads in and out were in process of being fixed (NYC wide). I was surprised at the extra charge for parking and bag breakfast. I never had an issue finding a parking and the bag breakfast was actually a great deal of items in it. Nicely done on both. The staff was great. Useful information was given when we asked for food or directions. The only thing I can say needs improving is the elevator. It jerks way more than it should, but it does get lots of people up and down.

Don't like that this will charge triple when a cruise ship is in port. But off peak is reasonable. Didn't like that the dead bolt on the door didn't even have a hole for the stem to run into. Made us feel real safe with just the throw lock. Specially in NYC. The shower water pressure sucks. Toilet height is made for garden gnomes. It was so low. Loved walking barefooted on that floor. Never again. I'm sure there doing the best with what they got.

Clean, safe and fairly close to food but in a very mixed use neighborhood. Many industrial places nearby but the hotel seemed like a diamond in the rough. Small lobby. Breakfast was the worst with cold ham and cheese barely in the box. Server wasn’t interested in helping or even talking and did not understand basic questions

This is a clean, no frills place located in a safe neighborhood with its own parking lot. At $25 a night, parking is a bit steep considering there is street parking nearby. But you're paying for safety. It is conveniently located close to the ferry and Van Brunt street, as well as being close to Caroll Gardens. The breakfast was not worth it for 10/day. It was a bagel with cream cheese or a turkey sandwich. We opted to walk and find breakfast ourselves. We would certainly stay here again!

It would be nice if they let you park for free if you have a room but they don’t it’s for a fee. Location is great walking distance from the Ferry.. staff was nice and helpful. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. Over all I would stay here again.

The staff were excellent! This was my third time staying at this hotel and was not quite the same as my previous experience. The room was not very clean, it had a bad odor. The go-bag breakfast was cold and not good. The bad part is that we paid for it.
