we came to this hotel for my birthday after a lot of research on price comparison and room amenities. Upon arrival after calling earlier in the day, to confirm our room and check in time, we were given a key and went up to the room to find that we were not given a room with a balcony which is what we booked for paid extra for and it kind of was the whole reason we stayed here, we got a nicer hotel room then usual because it was a special occasion. So we called down to the front desk immediately upon realizing we must’ve been given the wrong room, and the overnight manager told us that when you book a suite with a balcony, you are not guaranteed to get that balcony and that we are not charged anymore for a room with a balcony then a room without. (which is not true after talking to the actual manager the next morning) it was clearly stated on Expedia that there was one balcony room left, which was why I jumped on booking this hotel at that time! By this time it was 1 am and he told us he could refund us and we could leave, I said i do not want to leave because its 1 am, i want a refund for the price difference of the two rooms for the night he told us if we wanted a refund we would not be welcome at the hotel any longer and to take it up with expedia. So unwilling to help us and so absolutely awful, we went up and stayed in the room and he told us we would have to check out and re-check back in the next morning because of their mistake of over booking this room. LOL
