My experience at the EVEN hotel was very bad. The biggest issue was the unprofessionalism of the staff and the bad customer service.
Upon our arrival, the cooler in our room wasn't functioning, which was concerning as we needed it to store medication and beverages. Despite notifying the front desk, we were assured that the cooler would be fixed. However, upon returning to the hotel later, we found the issue unresolved. It took multiple calls and an additional 20-minute wait for maintenance to finally address the problem.
On the third day, a fuse in our room malfunctioned, resulting in a complete loss of electricity. Despite our complaints, the issue remained unresolved until the following day.
Furthermore, the valet parking staff demonstrated a shocking level of rudeness and unprofessionalism. Not only were we initially given incorrect pricing information upon booking, but the staff's demeanor was consistently dismissive and disrespectful throughout our interactions.
During breakfast, we were met with chaos in the kitchen, with staff members audibly arguing and displaying clear dysfunction. Our order was botched, and to add insult to injury, the food served made my father ill for the following day.
When we brought these issues to the attention of the hotel manager, the response was wholly inadequate. We were offered a mere $50 fee waiver from our bill. It's evident that the hotel failed to conduct proper inspections of our room prior to our check-in.
