"Our stay at this sweet, historic little cabin could not have been better. The hosts were friendly and helpful, cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, and the surroundings were quiet, rustic, and beautiful. Be sure to read about the history of the place, and the "healing spring," in the building where you check in, and save time for a morning walk along the creek. And yes, the water is delicious. For less than the cost of a hotel room in Boone, we had the most restful and restorative night and morning of our trip. So glad we found this gem in the mountains."

"Beautiful farmhouse with everything you need, and so clean. It is surrounded by picturesque pastures and the view of the gorgeous clouds is amazing. Great place to unwind and enjoy the sounds of the birds singing and the cows mooing. And a yummy pie was left for us to enjoy. Will definitely come back to stay again!"

"Overall Country Elegance was a beautiful home with lots of privacy tucked away in a beautiful mountain neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only cons I would say were that the listing was not entirely accurate - there was no game room with foosball or wood and both were advertised as being available in the listing. It should also be noted, the river access is quite a ways from the house, you definitely have to drive down to it. The beds were also highly uncomfortable and a few had dirty, stained bedding. Otherwise, the home was beautiful, well stocked, and we had a great time staying with our entire family!"
