"We were in town to visit the in-laws. Normally we stay with them, but this time some extra family was also in town so I searched for another option. We were so happy to have found Greystone. Great location, everything was clean and well maintained. The cabin was stocked with everything you could need, the hot tub and the deck were perfect for relaxing. The host was so helpful and easy to contact. If you’re looking, do yourself a favor and book. You won’t regret it! "

"The location of this VRBO is good in that it is in West Jefferson, but it isn't what we consider walking distance to the town or restaurants (except for a Pizza place). It is beside a larger home on the property that wasn't rented when we were there. The grounds are lovely as it's up on a small hill. This place is a little hard to find in that you have to turn between a truck sales lot and another commercial property, with the road not easily apparent..until you enter the property. Follow the instructions that will be emailed. The garage apartment is newly renovated with nice new furniture. There are steps to get up to the entry and then another large step up to get into each of the bathroom, closet, and kitchen. (If you have knee problems, this isn't the place for you.) There's a nice deck that we enjoyed. We had some problems adjusting the mini split to our preference. The first day and night we were freezing and the next two rather warm. The company offered to come out but we weren't around when the message came in. Later they didn't answer. The kitchen has a lot of cooking pots/pans, a microwave, and a full size refrigerator. There were no pods for the Keurig coffee maker. That should be identified on the listing, as we brought ground coffee. There were very tiny chips of packaged soap, so we had to go out and buy a bar of soap as well. Overall it was a nice stay with a decent location, other than a few minor inconveniences."
