Awesome price, close to city and places we wanted to visit. Helpful friendly staff. Plenty of comfortable beds with great clean linen and towels. quiet surroundings. Good shower pressure and plenty of crockery etc. Thanks, enjoyed our stay, will definitely book again.

Great spot for a short stop in New Plymouth. Loved the four bed option, the kitchen and proximity to groceries. Air conditioning would be nice as rooms got a bit warm.

Great value for money

The motel is dated but very well maintained and tidy. Everything was really clean and our room was spacious with comfy beds. Kids loved the pool and spa which was also very clean and tidy. Staff werent overly friendly or helpful but would stay again.

Very 80s retro! I really enjoyed the relaxed vibe. Very close to food outlets, city centre, Pukekura Park and the sea - each way is a 10-15 minute walk. Cheap and cheerful 😄

Raewyn at the reception was very kind and caring, also liked the hot indoor spa pool a lot. The room does catch a bit of noise as the place is located in the middle of the central and right next to one of the busy roads but other than that everything was good. Very nice location. Didnt have a car during the stay and it was totaly okay to look around the central.

The pool is not heated.....

Stayed a couple of night with our babies. Our room was suitable for our family and had all the basic necessities. We took the kids for a swim as this place advertises a heated pool but the pool isn't heated at all and is cold. This was the reason we chose to stay here, had we known we'd have stayed elsewhere. Also the pool and spa smelt really bad. Our kids also said it smelt like pee and we all had to have long soapy showers afterwards to get the smell off. After that day we told the kids the pool was broken. This was the biggest disappointment of our stay. My advice is the change your advertising and be honest!

The Motel is old and tired. People seem to be living in some of the units. The staff didn't provide any information on our arrival, such as having to book the pool. The 'heated' pool was absolutely not heated. It was freezing. One of the kids lips turned blue. I had extended our stay for an extra night through the app but they didn't have any record of it and forgot that I had paid for 3 nights ringing me to see if I was leaving after two nights. The rooms were clean and mostly tidy. However the bathroom lino was starting to pull away from the floor and the light switches in one room were faulty and didn't get fixed during our stay. One of the internal doors wouldn't close. Great location for being able to walk to the garden and explore town. Noise levels were fine for being next to the main road. Wouldn't stay here again as the price of the room didn't reflect the low standard. Sadly they weren't interested in asking us how our stay went and simply took the keys and said thanks and goodbye.

Staff was lovely and nice, very attentitive and lived on site. Pool was cold but spa was nice and hot. Room was ice cold even with the heater on all night. Was pretty noisy next to the highway also but conveniently right in the middle of town.

We were greeted with an old musty smell as soon as we walked into the unit. It is very outdated however it was clean and tidy. There wasn’t sufficient heating for the size of the unit (a small panel heater in the living area and a small fan heater in one of the bedrooms) so as a result we were very cold. Thankfully we brought winter clothes and dressing gowns and housekeeping kindly provided another small fan heater on request. A heat pump would be amazing in a unit such as that. It was very easy to check in, park and the staff were lovely. Perhaps we will stay again in the summer months haha!
