This was a great property to stay at when attending a conference. There is plenty of restaurants and it is not as busy as the French Quarter.

It’s definitely a different type of hotel room. Not no ordinary basic hotel room!! It’s unique and spacey! I very much enjoyed the hotel. I just wish I could have had a tub, which I booked the room with one in it. I received one with a handicap shower.

The downstairs lobby and restaurant were really cute and charming. We stayed on the second floor and it was filthy. The carpet in the hallway was covered in stains. The floor was so creaky everywhere you walked. Our room was not at all like the deluxe room pictured at booking. We had a “window” to a brick wall. The room was dimly lit and I couldn’t see to put my makeup on. The floor made so much noise when you walked around the room. We could hear the floor creaking in the room next door and outside in the hallway. The tub was soft and felt like it was going to break when stood in. The room and bathroom were filthy. The bed/bedding was subpar and had a flat sheet instead of a fitted sheet. The AC never got below 70 even though we set the temp at 65. There was no coffee or mini fridge in the room. There was a virtual concierge that never texted back when messaged. We were also over charged with $800 in fees that should have only been $300 deposit fees for the three rooms. Would not recommend. Would not stay again.

Beautiful boutique hotel with a true NOLA vibe. Plank floors, exposed brick walls, great decorations. Centrally located and walkable to the Quarter and most neighborhoods. $35 taxi from/to airport set up by front desk. Staff is very accommodating, especially Victoria. A favorite stay of ours.

Awesome historic hotel. Love the industrial- steampunk vibe if the room. Great lobby bar and restaurant. Easy walk to points of interest, bourbon street, wine stores, and groceries under 1/2 mile. WINO wine tap room on the next block was a hit for the group. Tons of dining and entertainment options within a few blocks. Definitely a new base of OPS for me in NOLA

Really cool hotel and amazing restaurant! Lots of charm, including squeaky floors. Room was very comfortable and the hotel is in a great location. Some of our electrical outlets didn’t work and we never got housekeeping service even though we specifically requested it.

The lobby area and rooms at this property are fine and as advertised. The hallways and elevator areas, however, are in a truly shameful state, torn, filthy and covered in stains. If I had seen that before booking, I would not have booked this hotel. When I raised this issue with reception, there was minimal interest in my feedback. They told me that they were going to renovate it but at nearly $400 per night, I felt misled by the Hotel's online photos and not heard by their staff.

Cool place but…. The bartender had no personality and barely smiled. The front desk agents were super nice. I was a little annoyed to be charged a $15 fee for wifi access and $40 fee for early room access. I get that i didn’t have to choose those but many hotels I’ve stayed in would never change for either of those. The carpet in the 2nd floor hallways was stained in many many places up and down the hallways. the old wood floors in my room had glitter in them… lots of glitter. Too bad that such a hip overall design and vibe was ruined by poor upkeep.

The hotel rented us a room directly across from a nightclub that was open until 4am with patrons leaning on our window talking and yelling. It became clear that staff was well aware of this issue with the room yet it was still being rented. They did offer ear plugs. Unfortunately ear plugs and two phone sound machine apps did nothing to stop the loud noise to allow us to sleep.

This hotel is in a great location--walkable to most things you'd want to do. Staff is courteous and helpful. Property has a very cool vibe, being a converted commercial property. The only knock we have against it is the "Deluxe" room we were in. A small, interior room with no windows, and the wood floor creaked very loudly. Other than that, comfortable.

The property was in a good location to reach the French Quarter. However one of the rooms in my reservation had such an overpowering smell of mold that we needed to move to another room. Guests at the resort pulled the fire alarm in the middle of the night and the hotel did not address the evacuation with guests even though it was 1:30AM.

My husband & I travel to New Orleans anywhere from 5-15 times every year for work and recreation. This particular trip we attended Jazz Fest & we chose to stay at The Old No. 77 Hotel. This amazing boutique hotel in the Central Business District is located next to The French Quarter, so if shopping & eating in The Quarter is on your to do list, then you’re in luck because this Hotel puts you in the perfect location for both! Located inside The Old No. 77 is Compère Lapin restaurant. This French & Caribbean restaurant is home to award winning chef Nina Compton. This restaurant & chef have received too many awards to even mention in this review!! This was actually the second time we stayed in the King Room which is a spacious 355 square foot room with amazing wood floors, mini fridge, safe and a nice mini honor bar. The fridge & safe are nicely tucked away in a beautiful antique style dresser that lends a more aesthetic appeal to the room that I absolutely loved! The attention to detail that Old No. 77 has taken is outstanding as it has an artistic design that captures New Orleans charm & character perfectly in my opinion! On this trip we arrived into town early & they did everything to accommodate us. While we waited in the cool, artistic bar & lobby Raven at the front desk went way out of her way to help us! I honestly can’t wait to go back to Nola again soon because we will absolutely be staying at The Old No. 77

I enjoyed my stay overall at the Old 77, with two factors being a large influence. The first being the $20 food/beverage credit through Expedia, as there was a restaurant on sight. The second factor was the lowest cost for parking for the area hotels. The hotel itself was older with features such as antique wood flooring that creaked with every step someone took. Such features were not clearly relayed in the description when I originally booked the property.

From the welcome txt to the greeting when I checked in this was one of the best experiences and cutest boutique hotels I’ve stayed at. The details are immaculate and the staff was hands down the friendliest I’ve ever experienced. I will stay here again no doubt

This hotel was quite artsy. The room was clean. It was nice having a coffee shop in the lobby but I would have liked to have a coffee maker in the room. All of the staff we encountered were friendly. Parking is expensive if you go through the hotel so we found our own free parking.

Love this property and we stay here every time we visit New Orleans! Unfortunately, the checkout clerk this time insisted on adding a "cleaning fee" to our bill because we brought our dog. We were there for one night and made no mess. The hotel property states they are pet friendly, but beware of these hidden fees. The clerk was rude and was unable to show me on the website where they disclosed this fee. Don't bring your pets here.
