"The room had a great ocean view. The property was older but had been renovated somewhat. Our only complaint was the “pet friendly” building had an odor in the halls (I think from the old carpet) and the room smelled old and not fresh. This was disappointing because you could tell the room was cleaned well but the smell made it feel dirty. Overall the hotel was nice and the amenities including the game room were a perk. Also, the restaurant had really great food and dessert. All of the staff were very friendly. "

"Garbage bins were not clear for us ... which color for what. Master bath sink needs some attention. Otherwise, it was really excellent! Comfortable, great location and awesome yard for our fur family!"

"Was locked out at 5 pm Sunday night..no ability to call anyone..was ready to break slider door..take my items locked in room and return home (8 hours drive away).."

"The house was very clean and we had a beautiful view of the ocean. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that it states in the description that the rental is just "steps away from the beach". On the very bottom in parenthesis it indicates that onsite beach access is temporarily closed, but does not state that you can't get to the beach by walking like the "steps away from the beach" could indicate causing confusion and disappointment on our end. There is beach access near by, but you have to drive. I did bring this to the hosts attention thinking they would modify the wording in the description for future renters and gave plenty of time for this to occur before leaving my review. "

"The TV in the master bedroom didn’t work, probably the remote needed new batteries, and during a thunderstorm we noticed the living room window leaking water on the window seal and dripping onto the floor. I let the host know right away but never heard anything back. You can only wash one load of clothes a day due to it being on a well, so for multiple families staying it could be a challenge. Other than that the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and we had an awesome view of the ocean. I brought my telescope and got to see a whale spout water. "
