"Marilyn was a fantastic host. Her property is beautiful and very well taken care of! My daughter and I loved visiting Yachats and staying in her home. Our favorite parts were the solarium and the river view outside the back door. We would definitely like to stay here again!"

"We loved cooking in the huge kitchen overlooking the ocean and dining while watching hummingbirds in the rock garden. This is a unique, custom built, home. There are signed art works on all the walls and artifacts gathered from the owner's travels. There are rustic elements like the well-worn hardwood floors and slate tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms. While the decor is probably 15-20 years old, everything is in good shape, clean and cozy. We also enjoyed the small town of Yachats, especially going to the Luna Sea 'fish monger' to buy the day's catch to make dinner every night. I wish I could have stayed longer! (Out of the 5 properties we stayed at on our road trip, this was my favorite.)"

"‘Hygge’ cabin with lots of windows looking out on beautiful grounds. Two windowsest nooks for curling up with a book. Very quiet, lots of birds. Walk to sands beach and tidepool."

"A very cozy perfect home base for a couple. Excellent amenities, especially the hot tub and wood burning stove. Don't be intimidated by the wood burning stove. It's set up to give you a rip roaring fire with very little smoke and was perfect on cold windy damp nights."
