Room for improvements.
The front desk staff has poor customer service skill (not welcoming). My children found ants under their pillows. I saw and killed a cockroach. The cleaning staff took the cushions and placed them on floor. Beds where poorly tidied during our stay there with the exception of the first day.

MOTEL IS IN A CONVENIENT LOCATION - 10 MINUTE WALK TO LITTLE BEACH. RSL IS 5 MINUTE WALK AND THERE IS A NICE CHINESE RESTUARANT ACROSS THE ROAD. MOTEL IS SMALL AND SO IS THE POOL. ROOMS ARE DATED BUT CLEAN.WALLS AND FLOORS ARE NOT SOUND PROOF SO YOU CAN HERE PEOPLE IN NEXT ROOM OR UP ABOVE - ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY GO IN THE SHOWER OR GO TO TOILET AND FLUSH. OK FOR A SHORT STAY BUT BE PREPARED

We have never stayed at this motel before. We were pleasantly surprised. We were surprised by the motel as it was very clean, the room was spacious and the area was very quiet. Check in was efficient and quick. Close to all amenities and only a few minutes drive from the centre of Nelson Bay. We will certainly stay at this motel on our next visit to Nelson Bay. It was an excellent stay.

There was nothing to complain about. The room was clean, comfortable bed. The staff was very obliging. Loved the kitchenette. Oh! there was one thing the TV reception was poor.

Could not fault anthing for cleanliness. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable for the area. Heavy or torrential rain highlighted the need for some maintenance on the outside of the premises, mainly inadequate down spòuts or in some cases the need for them. Sorry no photo's.

The location is great, very close to major venue at Port Stephens (Toboggan Hill Park, the marina, Anna Bay) The room was comfortable though did not like the lack of powerpoints, had to use powerboard and extension cords which is a safety risk. Disappointed the pool was shut down, why have this in summer?
