"Great hotel, in a great location. Would definitely stay here again. My one complaint was the hot water situation. The water is WAY too hot, I mean like hot enough to be dangerous especially to a young child or an elderly person. Hot enough to burn your skin. And unfortunately, when I turned the temperature down in the shower so it wouldn’t burn me, then the water pressure was basically nonexistent. So it’s either hot enough to burn your skin, or you get to shower in a trickle of water. I hope there is a solution for this."

"Great setting right on the beach, walking distance to downtown Manzanita. Kitchen was well outfitted but could have used drip filters for the coffee maker. Carpet in both bedrooms needs to be replaced. A general deeper cleaning needed."

"I have rented places in France, Spain, Italy, Crete and the UK, also ln Western Canada and the U.S., including Palm Springs, this is definitely the best supplied unit I have ever come across.About the only reservation I would have about it is that there no blinds in the front, so it can get very internally sunny in the afternoons- bubut this is cool Oregon so it doesn’t matter much."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been catching our breath as a family in Manzanita for over 20 years. Memories span from their children, their youth and now their young adult hood ... Ocean’s Doorstep was the ideal setting for us in this season of our life. The outdoor table saw us gathering every evening to feast together after surfing, hiking, beach-combing or strolling through town. This beach house was all we expected it to be ... we’re already hoping to return in a few years."
