I'll start out with the road up the mountain, a Rav4 for 2 people will be ok if you have experience with loose gravel and hills but if you don't get a larger 4x4 and you will have no problem. The review The view from the deck is the best you will ever see in Costa Rica. Very private with no neighbors in site that was a The house was well maintained and decorated, Beds were great and airconditioned but being up that high didn't really need it. For 2 couples or a family you will not be disappointed. Communication between the owner was prompt and helpful. Been to Costa Rica 4 time and this was the best location and house we have had. Only one suggestion is to add a full-length mirror in the house, somewhere for the girls. Thanks Janet! for maintaining a great house to rent! "

"We stayed for a little over 4 weeks and very much enjoyed the experience. The house seemed larger than it appeared in the photos we looked at prior to arrival. Everything is modern and the kitchen was better than the average rental house - we prepared many meals while there. We enjoyed walking down to the waterfall for a swim every morning. The sunsets were absolutely spectacular. We paid extra for the cleaning crew to come several times during our stay - wonderful people who do great work, and the price was very reasonable. You do need 4WD, but it’s fun - you feel like you’re on a bit of an adventure😀 We encountered a few minor maintenance issues while we were there - the property management team always responded promptly and the people they sent to the house were friendly and professional. Regarding phone and internet service, the cell signal we got at the house was 1 bar of 3G, and the house has a fast fiber optic and wifi connection, however, the fiber optic connection was not always working (the fiber optic company’s issue, not the property managers). This is perfectly fine for a relaxed vacation but may be a challenge for anyone needing to work or join virtual meetings. We experienced no crime and always felt safe - in fact, the people we interacted with were uniformly friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend.this property."

"A nice private location with a nice view of the ocean from the patio and the pool. The check in process was nice with the detailed driving instructions and the door lock with a code. We stayed here for 5 nights and found several nice resturants within a short drive. The pool was great to cool off in the afternoon."
