Beautiful condo with outstanding view. The infinity pool was awesome!! We enjoyed seeing, monkeys,toucans macaws and butterflies. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was wonderful and had good wi-fi. Excellent stay overall.

We loved it here!! The sunsets were absolutely stunning. The owner was super nice and if we had any questions or needed anything a staff member was there quickly to help. The villa had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We rented a 2x4 car and was able to get there, you just have to give it some gas in a couple of places. Highly recommend staying here.

Canavida has got to be the best place to stay in Uvita. Staying here included an exceptional view from the condos, a very clean room and the most accommodating and kind owners. It is clear that the owners love taking care of their customers and accommodation. We asked for a second mattress as we found the sofa bed uncomfortable and they personally delivered a second mattress to our room. In addition the communication from the staff at Canavida was exceptional. My favourite part of our stay was the gorgeous sea view from the condos, especially during sunset. My only regret is I didn’t book a longer stay at Canavida.

Although the location is a little out of the way, about 5km up the mountain on a rocky road, the view was amazing! Rooms were clean and employees were helpful! We had a little trouble with the ac but they were very attentive and brought fans right away until we got it squared away. They also helped with activity recommendations and bookings. We had in room massages that were awesome!

Love this property! This is our second time staying here and highly recommend. The property has amazing views, the rooms/villa are all new and well appointed with all you may need. I recommend a 4x4 as it is up the hill but the drive is well worth it. Communication is always amazing.

Absolutely amazing location with stunning views. The property is new, well maintained, clean and has everything to need for your stay. We stayed in the Tucan villa, the pool was perfect and the covered deck was great on warm rainy days. The staff was super friendly and easy to connect with through What’sApp. Uvita beach is a short drive away, lots of good restaurants nearby. We stayed 12 nights and didn’t want to leave! We will definitely come back here if in Costa Rica again.

Beautifully furnished and comfortable condo nestled in a jungle setting overlooking the ocean. Sparkling clean infinity pool, full kitchen, BBQ pit on back patio, excellent service from host and staff. The 5k maintained rock road to get there from main hwy is a bit of a rough drive but well worth it. This was our 5th trip to Costa Rica and we have stayed at many wonderful places- but none as amazing as CanaVida. Only stayed 2 nights- wish we had stayed 2 weeks!

The hotel is super clean, mattresses are comfortable and kitchen is fully equipped. View is just breathtaking, you can enjoy sunset from pool. Owner and staff are friendly and responsive, feels like home. Just only one thing to be aware of is gravel road to the property that takes about 15 minutes

The property is amazing! I have been traveling to Costa Rica since 1990 and I can tell you Canavida is one of the best values ever. From the initial communication and through the entire stay I was impressed. The condo we stayed at was perfect. Clean, well appointed, ocean views right out the back sliding glass doors, etc. I could go on. This is 100% a place I would highly recommend when in the Dominical/Uvita area. Just make sure to get a 4x4 to make access to the property as it is up the hill a little but do not let that discourage you. It is more than worth it.

We used the laundry service, which was fast and a great price. The resort also arranged a massage for us and they came right to our room - it was also fantastic! The location is far enough from the busy town of Dominical and Uvita yet close enough to go into for shopping, restaurants and entertainment. We highly recommend CanaVida Jessica and her team are wonderful!

Highly highly recommend!

We had a lovely couple of nights here. The pictures do not so the villa justice. The view is just stunning, beautiful pool overlooking the sea. There’s also a bbq you can use which was great. Jess and her team were wonderful, I cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond for us. We got stuck with a flat tire when we arrived and they got it all sorted for us. Anything you need, the team are on hand are communicate with you from the minute you book.

We loved Canavida! If you want the hustle and bustle of a city, this place isn't for you. But if you want to be in the middle of nature with spectacular views, this place is heaven. It is well equipped with everything you need, and is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Just make sure to bring in whatever groceries you need before you start the drive up the long dirt road. The road was fine, but we were glad we had a 4x4 with high clearance. We could have driven without it, but it was easy with it.

Stunning sunset view

Wow what a view! This place is next level and has a fully stocked kitchen. I recommend bringing food to make as the closest store is quite the trek. We will be back!
