"Book this place you will not be disappointed! I'll start out with the road up the mountain, a Rav4 for 2 people will be ok if you have experience with loose gravel and hills but if you don't get a larger 4x4 and you will have no problem. The review The view from the deck is the best you will ever see in Costa Rica. Very private with no neighbors in site that was a The house was well maintained and decorated, Beds were great and airconditioned but being up that high didn't really need it. For 2 couples or a family you will not be disappointed. Communication between the owner was prompt and helpful. Been to Costa Rica 4 time and this was the best location and house we have had. Only one suggestion is to add a full-length mirror in the house, somewhere for the girls. Thanks Janet! for maintaining a great house to rent! "

"What an incredible villa, pool, and beautifully landscaped property, with a wonderful ocean view! We had an amazing time at this beautiful property, and Janet and Doug ( owners) kindly guided us to the villa, and gave us a thorough tour. They have thought of everything you could ever need for your stay. We spent so much time in the beautiful pool, and were visited by lots of wildlife, which we loved. We saw lots of monkeys in the trees around the pool, and the howler monkeys would wake us in the mornings. So many toucans and parrots! The location of the villa is wonderful too. The drive up is fairly easy, and it is close to Dominicalito Beach, a great yoga studio, and the Kunjani Cafe. Juli ( concierge) was incredible! She booked us for horseback riding on the beach for sunset, and several dinner reservations. So very helpful. We will definitely be back to stay again! Thank you Janet and Doug!"

"Sitting on the patio with a delicious local coffee watching the waves! I've been to several "beachfront" properties but I don't think I've ever stayed in a house this close to the beach. They say it's a public beach, but it is so secluded it's like having your own private beach at your back door. We walked (30 minutes maybe) to Dominical several times for drinks and lunch, great little town!The only drawback is that you have to leave eventually. "

"We were a family of five traveling to Costa Rica for the first time mainly for the surfing. This house was PERFECT in every way. A lot of reviews have already mentioned Alejandro. But, it really makes a difference to have a contact who is so capable greeting you and getting you situated. We found Dominical felt very safe but as with any tourist location you need to be smart about locking your car and being aware. When in the house we felt VERY safe and secure. The house has everything you could need and is kept in impeccable condition. The views never get old and the hummingbirds and butterflies visited the landscaping around the house every morning. I, honestly, can't even think of one negative thing to say about the house or location. Just perfect. "

"It was great. I have a recommendation that could be a life saver. Remove the shrub at confluence of the driveway and the hwy on the south side. It's extremely hard to see northbound traffic. I wish you could secure the property adjacent to the south. The public traffic on the beach is crazy on the weekend. "
