"We had a wonderful stay at The Mill at Glynhir. The location is stunningly beautiful and so peaceful. Matt and Helen were superb hosts—warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay, their attention to detail is second to none as everything you need is provided. Breakfast was first class, with delicious local produce, and the amenities were exceptional. A perfect countryside retreat that we would highly recommend! We had only booked a 2 night stay but loved the Mill so much we asked for an...

"the staff were great changing our room from the 3rd floor to 1st floor due to a broken down lift. This was repaired the following day. The restaurant was excellent with adapting the menu to gluten free. No electric vehicle chargers but 2 convenient chargers a short walk away by the rugby club."

COSY COTTAGE WITH REAL FIRE AND FABULOUS VIEWS IN CARMARTHENSHIRE, WALE
10/10 Excellent
"We spent 3 nights at the property. It is well situated for easy access to neighbouring towns especially Carmarthen approximately 7 miles away and, which is well appointed with shops, drinking and eating establishments and with many retail outlets nearby. There are several attractions in the area which we were not able to take advantage of because of time. Kidwelly is a short trip (go to The Old Moathouse for excellent tapas - it is right next to the castle) and Tenby a bit further but well worth the visit. There is also a National Trust property at Dinefwr within driving distance and the must-see Dolaucothi Roman Gold Mine. The property itself has everything you could wish for a short stay including a well appointed kitchen and bathroom, comfortable lounge with an excellent TV, and two bedrooms. Heather, the host, has ensured that there is plenty of information about the area available and left a helpful welcome note. The wifi worked perfectly. Everything was clean and tidy. At the front there is a single parking space which was more than adequate for one vehicle whilst at the back there is a garden with extensive countryside views. Access to the property was via a key in a lockbox. Excellent instructions on gaining access and, subsequently, leaving were provided. Heather is a pleasant host who had first class communication with us both before and during our stay."
Farm setting with large living areas and wood fired hot tub
2/10 Terrible
"There was no stay. And the host was uncontactable.Arrived at the property to be informed by a neighbour the host no longer let out the cottage and had been vacant for months. "
You can spend an afternoon exploring the galleries in King Street Gallery during your travels in Carmarthen. Wander the gardens or discover the area's countryside.
