Shrewsbury train at Gowerton. Passengers at Gowerton station have a choice of two routes to Shrewsbury. This Arriva Trains Wales service from Swansea will use the Heart of Wales Line via Llanelli. This is a scenic route, but slower than the main line route via Cardiff, Newport and the Welsh Marches line. Trains on that route depart from the other platform.

Nice small cosy room that was toasty warm. Only marked it down as the milk in the little pots was just a solid mass of gloop so could not make a drink. A note on the wall advised that milk was available downstairs in the bar, which is no good if you make a first brew after the place is closed.
