We had a lovely stay at the Diplomat. The staff were all wonderful, really helpful friendly and we felt very welcome. The hotel itself it a bit tired but everything was very clean and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. It’s in a bit of a weird location but we had a wonderful trip to the Gower exploring the coast around Rhossili which is beautiful.

There were some damp pathches on the ceiling in our room. The hair dryer was too loud borderline broken. The room was clean however. Staff and food waa lovely and affordable. We had a good stay and would come back

Great hotel, lovely staff who were all very welcoming, lots going on. The only small downside being that it does need a bit of a refurb in the rooms. But other than that it was all good, and we would stay there again.

Lovely room - staff were welcoming and friendly! Attending an event with overnight accommodation so did not have time to experience the hospitality of the Spa but everything at the hotel met with great satisfaction and would recommend and will definitely return when next in the area - thank you for your hospitality!

The Potential was good for this hotel, but unfortunately I had a room that was really hot and no fan available, on top of this when I opened the window it led onto the back of the hotel where there was some kind of service entrance where deliveries were made and it was noisy.

Room was lovely, staff were helpful and friendly. Food in restaurant was excellent. Spa was fine, but could probably do with a bit of a makeover. Overall excellent and would definitely stay here again.

It was lovely.. staff were amazing and friendly.. the big let down was buffet breakfast all were below standard food and looked so over cooked and tasteless.. the knives were very blunt and would not cut food … we had two breakfasts and a room. Hotel was nice enough and the staff really friendly, however two things stood out and affected my visit. The drain in the shower stunk, and I had to keep the bathroom light on so the fan would dull the smell. During breakfast the ladies who were lovely, asked if I wanted a tea or coffee, I would respond, they would then forget and this happened 3 or 4 times and didn’t end up receiving the coffee. I think this hotel potential had a grand past, but its quite tired now.

It was a last minute booking so hadn’t expected it to be so nice. Room and en-suite were large, modern and clean. The staff were lovely! Very helpful and pleasant. The only downside to our stay was the breakfast. Terrible! We only had it once the other morning we had breakfast out as it was so bad! If they could fix that it would be a 5!!
