"Hotel Futaba truly exceeded our expectations. We stayed as a family of five, and the room was incredibly spacious, more like staying in an apartment than a hotel. We were pleasantly surprised to find that both breakfast and dinner were included, which was a huge bonus and meant we didn’t have to go out searching for food after a long day of snowboarding.
We experienced a kaiseki dinner for the first time and it was absolutely amazing, one of the best cultural experiences of our trip.
The hotel is conveniently located close to the station and Yuzawa Kogen Resort, and having the ski room and equipment hire all in one place made everything so easy. The rooftop onsen was beautiful, and we also had a private in-room onsen, which was perfect for us. As I have tattoos and couldn’t use the public onsen, having an in-room option made the stay even more special.
Overall, an exceptional stay for our family and one we would happily recommend."

"Location is perfect being a few minutes walk to the train station, Yuzawa Kogen ski lifts, restaurants and shops.
The food for breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent in quality and variety. We stayed 4 nights and was not bored of the spread. "

"It’s a good hotel to ski. They have shuttle bus every half hour between hotel and the train station.
The massive hotel is facing a ski field, particularly good for beginners, ski school and park for kids. After ski, then you can enjoy the hot spring. It’s amazing. I also love the buffet.
I may bring the kids back again for ski in future. "

"Incredibly clean and hygienic place, I’ve stayed there before and loved it! Super close to the ski resort, onsen visit is included, they have storage for your ski/ snowboard equipment as well as free laundry. The showers are amazing as well as the room heaters. I love staying here and I will be returning next year :) might just be an annual trip! They also have a great kitchen setup, along with Beer on draft!
