Stonehouse on Main

10/10 Excellent
"We are three sisters from Canada, Uk and Cape Town. We came here to reminisce our childhood days in Struisbaai. What a wonderful home base for us. We came for a night and stayed for two. Your attention to detail and warm welcome made it feel like home from home. Just wonderful. Highly recommend. 10/10 for sure! Thank you!!"

"The property was beautiful and relaxing. The rooms are decorated beautifully. Unfortunately the pool was empty and the beautiful dining room and restaurant shared lounge areas were closed as it is only open sporadically. You have to either self cater or visit a restaurant in the village about 10km away."

"Stayed in a self-equipped cottage and enjoyed the proximity to ostrich, elands, notebooks and zebra. Rented mountain bikes (not a great selection for a small woman but found one) and road to the ocean pools. Tough on the washboard roads! Gorgeous coast. Staff were terrific, had to deal with a baboon break-in (hide ALL food) and eager to please. Didn’t eat in the restaurant but had drinks by the fire there as it was chilly and damp. Friends did the marine guided walk and said it was excellent."

"The tent is amazing, very clean with everything you need. The Wi-Fi is really poor. Bit disappointed that there is no welcome food hamper, particularly as the shop closes at 5pm and the on site restaurant didn’t open. The hot tub was full of murky water and there wasn’t enough wood for the fire and the hot tub. Felt it was a little expensive. "
